"To open up just take out the screws from the top and the internals slip out easily. To reassembly just line all the bits & buttons up and slip back in before tightening.

There are 2 cells in this - cylindrical 18650 Lithium Polymer or lipo's. Markings on the batteries are "JS18650 7.77Wh". This means that each battery is 2100mAh giving a total of 4200mAh rather than the advertised 4400mAh. Other markings appear to have date of manufacture/serial/batch numbers. There is an intriguing "15A" at the end of the serial number. This may be random or it could be max amps discharge. These appear to be the same cells as used in the iStick 30W.

I ran the batteries empty and then fully charged with SKU 1961001 and SKU 1859500 inline to give me an estimate of actual capacity. Results I received was 4051mAh which is 96% of 4200mAh. This is good enough for me.
