Guys I'm new and I received as a gift the G-Priv and TFV8 big baby beast combo and I really don't know what batteries I should use - this mod is 2 slot. I wish to vape at 60-100 watts and maybe try the 100+ territory someday for chucking clouds for fun. Yet I don't know which batteries to use - I'm looking for mainly what would give me the most time out of them as well as the wattage I'm planning to use them for, I've heard the SONY VTC6 and some LG ones are good but I need your experience.

Two 20-amp batteries (for example Sony vtc6, vtc5, Samsung 30q, LG hg2) are good up to about 120w (or 105w if the battery cutoff is as low as on the Smok Alien). 25 amp batteries (Sony vtc5a) are good up to 150w (or 130w) and 30 amp batteries (LG hb2/4/6) up to about 180w (or 155w).

Some may disagree, but the batteries you choose should be married. Use the same 2, same brand, buy them together, charge them together, use them only in that device. I just started using this exact same set-up, it's my first dual battery mod and I love it so far. I'm using the LG HG2s and I don't exceed 70 to 75w, but you can push them to 120w, I don't plan on it though. I've been vaping for years and came here to ask advice about this set-up. You'll get all the answers you need right here.

i've got the 220 alien, currently i have a pair of lg hg2's(i really need to find a good canuck vendor for higher amp batteries!) in it, but like hemi i'm not really going above 75-80w currently(i get nagged about clouds and i'm not used to it with a tank). like ken said they're good till near 120w technically, but it's not really a good idea to push them to their limits. i really don't understand why they make mods wattage so much higher than current battery limits by so much.

See I want to DIY but she is against it due to the children. I keep it all out of their way but not worth a fight

Have you used the LG he4 or hb6? If so, how do you like them? I see the he4 is 2500mah and hb6 is 1500mah, how long do they last in a dual mod?

I have some LG he4. Fine batteries, but the hg2 has more capacity. I don't have any hb batteries as I don't need that high of an amp rating. How long batteries last is very much dependent on your power setting, efficiency of the mod, and vaping habits.

the he4 is a 20a battery like the hg2 but with less mah... i use one, but in my coil master 521tab(got the battery by accident). the hb6 has 30a but half the mah of hg2... you're trading amps for time.
I noticed that when I was looking at them online. I like the hb6 for the 30amps, I wonder how long they last at 70w? Sounds like the HG2's are probably the best.

i like the browns... but i really want some of the vtc5a's for one of my mods... just can't find anywhere to buy them here without crossing borders... yet. i wouldn't bother with the he4's and just go straight to the browns. they are great batteries for most uses... i just want to play with some more extreme builds for a bit and am rather fond of battery safety.
