Hello!
I have a evic vtv mini with the Triton 2 tank. For now i am using the 0.4 Stainless Steel coils with it however i also have the 0.15 ohm Nicel coils that i would like to use.
The battery i am using is the LG HG2 20A 18650 2000mah battery.
Would i be able to use those coils with this setup?
I also have the Evic VT (the big one) that can figure and handle those coils so I am currently using that one with the Nickel coil

In a regulated device like the VTC Mini, amp draw is determined not by the coil ohms, but by the wattage setting and battery charge state. Amp draw will be highest when the battery voltage is at its lowest. The VTC Mini goes up to 75 watts, and has a low-voltage cutoff of, I believe it's 3.3 volts. Worst-case scenario, then, is running it at full power until the battery dies, drawing 75/3.3 = 22.7 amps. If you're going to be running above 60 watts, you will want to have a battery capable of more than 20 amps, like the Sony VTC3 or VTC4, or the Samsung HB6.

That's right. You'll be pushing the battery pretty close to its limits, but still technically within spec.
Cool! I might back down on power to test things out, maybe I'll start off at 40 and go upto like 50watts which would put me within 12-15amps which is better than pushing the batter to it's limits. Thanks for your help, greatly appreciated!

I normally stay 50w or under with the mini so I run the HG2. If your going to max it out you can use the LG HD2. Its 25a but can comfortable do 30. No matter which battery at 70w it will die quick. When Im going over 50 for a period of time I just use a duel battery mod. Theres a 3.0 upgrade for it now. Makes the display better and has a few more secrets.
