What brand is the Tornado, and....

I am trying to figure out exactly what brand the Tornado is, Totally Wicked sells them...but who makes them?

If I wanted to purchase parts for it, is there a model number I should be looking for?

Is there a cartomizer made for it? How about a passthrough?

Joye is the manufacturer of them. TW sells the Tornado, and Janty has the Ego, but they are essentially the same with different brand names. They use standard 510 atomizers. To use a cartomizer you would need an adapter, but I don't know if the atomizer cover would fit with that on there. As far as a passthrough, I can't help you there.

The Tornado is the Janty eGo and uses the 510 attys and carts.

Since the atty and carts are for the 510, the 510 passthrough works. Haven't bothered with it myself since the Tornado batteries last so long.

Before spending money on the Ego/tornado you may want to look at the dse905. 14500 900mah batts last longer. 3.7V gives better output than 3.2V ego/510 batts. I use it with 901 attys, 510 attys with adapter and greencig cartos with kr8 adapter. Its like 3 ecigs in 1. Only around $50.00 with 3 batts at madvapes.com. Replacement batts are about $5.00. Can't beat that.

I have no issues with the Tornado, I am a heavy vapor, and the battery will last me all day.

I believe the tornado batts are only 680mah so will not last as long. Also fully charged both 510 and tornado batts only put out around 3.2V compared to 3.7V for the 14500. Doesn't sound like much but voltage inversely effects output.

A pt without the inline batts will provide a lot more output. The 510 pts with the inline batts limit the voltage so I believe will provide more output than the 510 batt but not as much as the pt without the batts.

I use cartomizers with an adapter on the EGO. It works great. The cover fits snugly over the cartomizer, but IMO, with the cover on, the vapor and taste are not as good as with the cover off.

well, I just ordered a Totally Wicked TORNADO E-NI this morning because of all the great reviews. Hope it won't let my down. I got a 4081, 901, 510 now and not totally satisfied. 901 has more favor than the 510 but both are not consistent. and batt life is not to good. I'm a heavy vaporer.

Well you are stating the higher the voltage the better, so with a 5 volt PT you get more voltage, so how is that not a upgrade?
Why not use a PT instead of buying another e-cig with a higer voltage out put?

I do use a pt (vaping with 1 right now) but you are tied to the power supply so it is nice while on the computer or watching tv but you are limited by the wire.

So I can upgrade the voltage on the Tornado to a 5 volt, via PT, without an adapter or causing harm to the 510 atomizer?

I just ordered a Tornado.. What adapter do you use, I should pick one of those up, since I prefer cartos.
