I'm also in the market for some PG 100mg nic juice and so far I've read that some vendors add citric acid to calm them, other vendor's juice has a peppery taste to them, etc. And of course this information isn't on their product pages. Can anyone recommend a quality PG juice that isn't peppery or bitter? This one perhaps?

I get all of my nic from RTS Vapes. They are extracted from US plants by US Labs and the nic is very high quality. They have a 15% off sale going right now with code halloween
120 ml of 100 mg Flavorless Nicotine Liquid

BTW- If you look at their thread in the Suppliers Forum you will see that their nic has no odor/bad taste and is clear as a bell with no additives :)

I believe this is being a slight problem for me as well, Lynda.

However...I made a sample last night of a new recipe that I am working on, I tested it tonight and so far it is the only one that does not have the bite you are speaking of. I have not added VW to this one. Keeping my fingers crossed it stays the same. The initial drip test is quite good, to my surprise! The only thing that I did different this time was I mixed my flavors only and let those sit sealed in a dram btl overnight. Then mixed at 10% into my pg/vg tonight. IDK if that means anything, but thought I would mention it to you.

Okay...An update.

I have just finished mixing another seven 5ml batches of tobacco/fruit flavors.

One thing I noticed while mixing...
Since I am making small batches, I use a syringe to draw the proper amount of an ingredient from the main containers and then deposit it into the 10ml bottles that I use.
So it goes like this...
Draw the NIC/PG from main container and deposit into 10ml bottle. Repeat until all 7 bottles have the proper amount of NIC.
Draw the VG from main container and deposit into 10ml bottle. Repeat for the rest of the bottles.
Draw the PG from main container and deposit into 10ml bottle. Repeat for the rest of the bottles.
Add flavors to each bottle.

When I was done with this I noticed a definite line between the ingredients!
The ingredients had stayed separated enough to produce a very noticeable line even though they are all clear liquids.

Once I add the dropper inserts and cap the bottles, I vigorously shake the bottles for perhaps 15 seconds each. Then I leave them on the kitchen counter and give them a shake every now and again when I walk by.

Maybe that is the problem! Perhaps I am not shaking or mixing the ingredients enough and it is taking a week or more for the ingredients to properly meld together?

Well, I'll keep you informed. I'll be doing enough shaking in the next few days I hope I don't return here with a rattled brain.

Another update.

In the past 24 hours I have shaken the 7 bottles from my new batch a COUNTLESS number of times!

I have just finished sampling them...

Awesome results! No chemical taste! They actually taste like they should! (The crowd roars!)
That must have been my mistake, I need to shake the bottles a lot more after adding the ingredients.

Now don't get me wrong, I still think they need more steeping time for all the flavors to combine properly, but I cannot taste that awful chemical taste that I had previously tasted with 1 day old e-juice. Each of the flavors tasted good and could now be vaped if I needed to. I will keep shaking and testing them for the next few days and report back with my results.

So there you have it...Shake your juice! (A LOT!)
