Morning everyone! I have a question about juice.

My starter kit came with 15 pre-filled cartridges. I don't like the flavor much in these and thankfully had some others to get me by. I have juices coming that should be here in the next few days.

I don't want to totally waste these pre-filled ones. My plan was to refill them. I'm planning to place an order today with Backwoods Brew for some other flavors. Is it possible to add a flavor to these tobacco flavored cartridges so that I might be able to use them to the point of completely refilling? And if so, which flavor might be best and blend with a tobacco flavor? Or should I just chalk it up to experience and order some blanks??

Good Gawd....does that make sense to anyone but me??

I would NOT recommend washing your cartos with water or alcohol. I've made that mistake and had to buy all new cartos. Sucked! I clean my cartos by letting them drain over night (standing up in a small cup with paper towels at the bottom), then flushing them with PG or VG or both (To do this, you just fill the carto with about 10-16 drops, let it sit over a paper towel for a minute, then blow out the liquid into a paper towel. This will work until you need to replace the filler, which could be after 1 or 50 uses).

hmmmm it looks like the OP ? was referring to carts ( mouth piece w/filter material & juice) not carto's ( mouth piece & atomizer built together w/filter material & juice ) these are 2 totally different things , especially when cleaning .

carts are easy.... I just remove filter & drop filter & mouth piece In a cup of water, swish around in cup as I walk to kitchen, I squish the filter a few times w/fingers then hold & squish a few more times under running water, put aside on paper towel , rinse mouth piece under running water, dry filter material by rolling around on paper towel & use a Q-tip to dry mouth piece .
then refill and put filter material back in & your good to go .

carto's.... they are trickier due to the atomizer part being delicate, I have not tried to clean any of these yet . I have just added juice to the ones I have been using as they got dry.

I am pretty sure you CAN NOT replace the filter material in carto's with out destroying the carto.

oh & adding a flavor to the tobacco ? what ever you might think will be tolerable , think of flavored cigars maybe cherry, grape, clove ??? endless possibilities.........

my ? is why would anyone use ISO alcohol ? Can't be safe to vape .

I apologize to all that have replied. I reread my post and I wasn't very clear. That's what I get for trying to work and post at the same time!!

I'm talking about cartomizers.

Drip tip is out for me. I have no time to do that at work nor any desire to go there right now. My life is all about convenience right now.

I think I'll try adding a flavor. I hate to waste anything and it seems a waste to not try to use them in some capacity.

Cleaning a carto....I haven't gotten that far  but I should be able to fill several times before they need it....correct?

I think I got what you meant, MsCruzer. Carto's can be cleaned out. Some people just use hot water and force it through the cartomizer. I'll have to look up some videos on YouTube to see different cleaning methods, since I'm new to using carto's myself. You can refill them several times and when they die, you just throw them out.

As far as using Isopropyl Alcohol...a lot of us soak our atty's in it and let it dry. It evaporates quickly and once it's dry there isn't a smell. It works very well and as long as you let it dry thoroughly, you can vape without worry.
