What causes the slight sweetness that hits my tongue when I vape?

Are vg or pg somewhat sweet? Or are all the flavors sweetened a bit?

I'm not complaining, mind you, I actually like it. Just curious what it is.

I noticed this as well. Some juices have more of a nutty/bitter tang, some have a sweetness, some (Wyatt Earp) leave a jalepeno like taste on the tongue.

It depends on the flavor, Pure VG tastes sweet but I don't taste it much when vaping it alone. Most companies use a mix of food/candy flavorings in their juices just as one would making candy. Ethyl Malto is a common sweetener used in liquids.

The higher the PG, the more it pronounces the flavor and sweetens it. VG is your vapor producer but doesn't enhance the flavor (some say it pulls the flavor down/weakens it). Of all the flavors I've tried from FSUSA, I don't find any that aren't over/or lacking sweetness. They are good as is.

For some flavors the I like really sweet (other vendors), I take a 3ml bottle and fill it up, then add I drop of EZ-Sweetz to it. These are ususally the juices that have a higher concentration of VG.
