I think I already requested this (but its not listed so maybe I worded or presented it wrong; maybe I tagged it, I can't remember and I can't see it) and here's my problem:

I deleted my V4L sig generator as it was always down (inaccessible to update) and was going to go with one from VaporNine but it will not work for some reason. At this point I am unsure of what or how much of the code to transfer to the URL line (right?) as the image isn't on my computer so it cannot be there.

The complete code is as follows:

I have tried different variations and shortenings of the line to no avail and I am very frustrated; I really like the forum (Supporting member! Y'all have saved me bucks and cost a couple, too -- lol) and just want to put my best face on, trying not to post too much stupid stuff and be helpful, but this vexes me like you wouldn't believe.

Please get back to me,
ty,
Bones

p.s. I can't be the only one who gets confused by this, it should have a 'Sticky' post of some kind, the whole sig thing confuses a lot of newbies -- and brain-damaged hippies!!!!

You had one too many URL tags in there. The code should look like this if you plan to have the image linked to a URL: (Replace the "()" with "[]" and take out spaces)

(URL="http: //sig . vapornine . com")(IMG)http: // sig . vapornine . com/ customSig.php?id=790(/IMG)(/URL)

I corrected it in your post above. If you click to edit your post, you can copy the code.

If you still have issues, let me know.

Thnak you so much -- as you can tell, code recognition is not one of my specialties and I'm not exactly sure what you did but I sure am glad you did it. Heck, I still push a pencil rather than using CAD -- its a bummer getting old!!!!!

I use AutoCAD just about every day, and have used it for nearly 15 years. I hated manual drafting, mostly because I suck at it, lol.

anyone want to help with mine? I get this error message when I apply the code in the box:

The following errors occurred with your submission:

1. You have included 2 images in your message. You are limited to using 1 images so please go back and correct the problem and then continue again.

" Images include use of smilies, the BB code tag and HTML <img> tags. The use of these is all subject to them being enabled by the administrator.
2. Your signature contains too many lines and must be shortened. You may only have up to 3 line(s). Long text may have been implicitly wrapped, causing it to be counted as multiple lines."

This is the code:
[URL="http://www.chicago-ecigs.com/es"][IMG]http://www.chicago-ecigs.com/e2.gif?id=6176[/URL]

I can see the sig line but it doesnt show up in posts

Thank you.
Why was I not able to see the ivape sig or locate the code ? What did I not do correctly?

I fixed it for you. You still had code for an iVape banner in your sig line, which you would have needed to replace by the code for this new banner.
