Hi! I'm about to be gifted a sigelei 100w Plus. Woo-hoo! This is a substantial upgrade from my original MVP2 that maxes out at 11 watts.
So, I'm excited. I've only taken a few puffs of other peoples' big boxes, and I was impressed by the flavor, warmth, clouds, and so on. In those cases I was using MY rda with MY build in it!
OK, so I can build coils competently enough to make them come out to spec. I can make them hit a certain resistance, a certain number of winds, and so on. I always use Steam Engine's coil calc for all that.
I only have 30 gauge Kanthal A1, and I only use cotton balls for wicks (pulled apart, of course.)
I will be using this dripper:
Big 28.5mm 101 Vape Adjustable Airflow Atomizer - 101 Vape
It's a great dripper. I vaped it at 56 watts with a 30 ga. build at about 2 ohms with cotton and it handled things nicely.
I like flavor, but my wife likes clouds. If I can get this Sig going real good I'll be buying her one. So consider this practice for me to help get my wife off the cigs.
What coils should I build next for the Sig?
Thanks
