What coil temperature is necessary?

I have been searching for the temperature that eliquid vaporizes at in our PVs. I have searched and found answers ranging from 65C to 300C. I realize it probably varies by PG / VG / flavor percentages, but that is a huge range. I am interested in the real life temperature range for a pleasing vape, not what some physics or chemical manual might say for PG or VG. Surely someone has used a low mass accurate thermocouple to answer this question.

I think there are too many variables to answer that. The juice, the wire, the voltage/wattage all are variables.

Early FDA studies using a thermocouple on SE and Njoy ecigs showed 40-65C @105-150F, using a 10mg cartridge with PG. Assuming regular components I'll guess they were getting around 6-7 Watts on those ecigs.
