Well it could be alot of things
- too much flavoring (most likely)
- too few flavoring (unlikely)
- the flavor you are getting doesn't resemble what you have in mind (common)
- your vape setup
I suggest restarting, and start off with drops. Make your base like 5ml or 10ml if you prefer and then add 4 drops, give it a try on an atomizer or ego-c
tank or so, not enough flavor, add another 2 or 4 drops, keep doing this till you have almost the thing you like, then stop, let it steep
You could also do it another way
take 5 bottles PG/VG (with or without nicotine)
1st bottle = 2 drops
2nd bottle = 4 drops
3rd bottle = 6 drops
4rd bottle = 8 drops
5th bottle = 10 drops
You get the idea, I would not focus that much on the percentages since there are some vendors where 1 drop is enough. If you know the vendor has highly concentrated stuff, 1/2 drops usually is already enough for 5ml. Also try to look up the percentage the vendor says it needs.
In the months i have been doing DIY I just can't get why people are so focused on those percentages for flavoring. I just make 12mg of nicotine
juice and then add my flavoring, if it turns out the end result is 11 fine, if the end result is 10mg don't care that much honestly. I just find it way easier to add drops then to measure out the flavoring especially 2-3%, you would need ultra small needles etc or a digital pippette, so I suggest drops. Now if you want to make it in larger quantities, you can still translate drop to ML
