What device should I buy?

Im not a hardcore smoker. I love to smoke, but I dont enjoy large throat hits. I like to have a smooth drag with low throat hit. I'm lost as to what kit I should buy? I've considered the Vapor King, but I really am lost in the myriad of e cigs. What would someone recommend? Also, I need the model to be black or at least mostly black. I like the look of the Blu cigs, but I've heard many bad things about Blu's. Someone please help?

I'm new to vaping as well (about a month now)...I had tried friends E-Cigs and thought it would be cool back up to have for places i couldn't smoke analogs. One of my friends sold me a Smoke 51 Trio Starter kit..got some carts for it and thought it was ok. I looked around and found the Blu starter kit. It is a good introduction to vaping, you get a ton of stuff with the starter kit and it's pretty cheap $60 It took about 8 business days to get to me (it said usps priority but went through a 3rd party mailer) The carts don't last very long and neither do the batteries but the PCC is worth it's weight in gold! I kept all my empty carts and bought some Juice from vapor 4 life $3 for a 5ml bottle and had them in 3 days plus a flat rate shipping! Once I started Dripping it turned my Blu into a whole new PV! Just get some tweezers pull the cup out take off the foil and drip right into it, put it back in and vape away! There is good and bad but great for starting out! My next acquisition will be a 510 W/manual battery everyone seems to rave about them. I'll post another reply after i have tried it...hope this helps

The Internet
I'm new to vaping as well but i've definitely learned a little and can share some of my experiences. I started by purchasing from Blu. I would recommend skipping this step. The device werked ok but i then purchased a Janty Stick V3 and am much more pleased, and it wasn't that much more money. Now, i haven't tried a 510 yet and everything i read here points to a device like a Joya 510, but i really like my Janty. Good battery life, great vapor, great for a beginner, and USB passthrough. The last point was the main reason i got the Janty. I'm around computers all day and the passthrough is invaluable for me. I just sent off an order for a Silver Bullet which would be my first mod. So, take a look around. I'd look at a Janty Stick or a Joye 510. Ask more questions and take your time. I wasted $70 on a device that i'll never use again. I hope this info help you to not make a simulat mistake.

Good luck and have fun!

Look at my post history and read the posts I've made about the DSE901. It offers more flavor and battery life over the Joye 510. Same style almost the same size but the 901 runs a bit cooler than the 510. This gives it extra battery life and better flavor but doesn't give as much vapor and TH. Considering what you said I think you'll like it.

The m401 (or shorter m402 or m403) also have really nice flavor. They are smaller, the diameter of a real cigarette. The cartridge is rather small in comparison to the mini style (510, 901) so you'll be changing cartridges or refilling them faster and more often. But if you don't smoke much you may want the smaller lighter form factor.

For comparison, mah represents capacity. The m403 is 100mah, m402 is 150mah, m401 is 200mah, 901 and 510 standard battery is 180mah, 510 'mega' battery 280mah. The KR808D-1 batteries are 280mah and 380mah for its mega battery and can be also used on the 901 atomizer for a longer lasting longer physically PV.

The KR808D-1 uses cartomizers, a combination of throw away atomizer and cartridge. Designed to be used until empty and thrown away but can be refilled rather easily to keep the cost down.

I found that my regular 510 batteries would barely last me a couple of hours, and always go dead at the worst times. I recently ordered a few eGo batteries, and they last me a couple of days between charges. Now I've been eying the Hello 016 which is basically an eGo with a battery that last twice as long! It will be my next purchase. Right now the Hello 016 kits are on sale for $50 from madvapes. That's a pretty sweet price if the battery is all it claims to be, and I haven't heard any negatives about them yet.

I have a 510 starter kit from Cignot, they have a kit that is VERY COMPARABLE to the BLU Cigs Package. It comes with a 2 full Joye 510's, A PCC, (personal charging case) 5 carts, 2 5ml liquids, by using the PCC you get the option of charging while mobile, plug it into a usb and it charges itself and your battery via usb, it also comes with a wall adapter.
As for less throat hit, get a VG blend, Vegetable Glycerin has less hit and more vapor then PG. You can also cut any fluid that you feel is too harsh with VG you can buy at a drug store, walmart, or a Michaels. Milligrams per milliliter also have a large effect on throat hit, by cutting your fluid with VG you also decrease the mg/ml which will further decrease the throat hit, just be warned that flavor drops off rapidly as well.

the eGo will go 5-7 hours on a charge

the 510 or KR808 kits are around $35-50 with a pcc
the eGo kits start at @ $70, the tornado as well from Total Wick, no pcc needed

or the Vapor King from Vapor4life

the ego for a 3 piece model or two piece with cartomizers
the VapKing or Kr808 as a two piece with cartomizers

save yourself the hassle and skip the 510

510 batteries are 180Mah and Megas are 280Mah

Other than that... I really like my M401. I find it to be a better vape than the 510's and the smart pcc is awesome!

I have the M4xx series, 510, 510 mega, my hello 016 is on the way and I'm building my own detonator mod for a 5v vape with a 1600Mah batt life.
