I use to sit in my office all the time because it is the only room I smoked in. Told hubby oh joy I can vape and watch tv with you . Uh NO , I am here all the time now reading and shopping. I told him he needs to buy me a tablet netbook so I can sit in the living room and read here while he watches tv. So maybe I should stop buying juice so he will buy me the tablet? Hmm lemme think about that.

I can relate to that. I take care of my 2 grandchildren quite often and it was always how am I gonna get a smoke with the kids here, lol

Yep I got sneared at for smoking in the office. When I met hubby was Mr anti smoker ex smoker. Now I have to make sure my pv's aren't left around while he is near them. I stopped using them for a while because I didn't want him to pick the habit back up even though it would have made my life easier.
I stopped smoking near his kids out of respect when we met, they moved in and I moved my smoking to the porch. They moved out (to thier mom's) I decided I didnt like the stink in the house anyway so I stayed on the patio , which he got covered and screened for me. Then I just got mad one day after they moved back in (the kids) and I was freezing my .... outside with a snuggy LOL I said I am smoking in the garage, if you don't like it don't come in it. I brought my laptop out to the garage. The once again they moved out and in again and we made the garage into a bedroom. UGH! who needs to sleep I wanted to smoke. So I had to start sharing hubby's office and told him either I smoke in here or I leave (my own house). He didn't argue , we have been in counseling ;-) mostly for the kids moving in and out crap. Now that I am vaping everyone is happy , but my laptop died and I need a new one if he wants me to sit with him while I watch him watch tv.

Same thing as after.

I don't smoke inside (yeah, not 100% off the pyros yet), so I go outside to vape as well. It's as good an excuse as any to get me away from the 'puter and out for some air. (Yes, even if it's -5 outside. No, I haven't yet vaped at below freezing, but I'm curious.)

I spend way too much time reading stuff in my RSS aggregator, and keeping up with a couple forums. I tell myself to get back after the huge stack of books I have piling up.

I sat around eating junk food and dreaming about cigarettes. When I got my first e-cig I had been off of the real thing for almost 11 months and was still miserable over the loss of my 'long time friend'.
That was 10 months ago and now I happily vape my evenings away. The desire for a light-one-up cig has completely gone away. I've even lost that 20 pounds that I gained in that year that I was quitting. I've read a number of posts that advise those who had already quit smoking not to vape but for me it was absolutely the savior that kept me from going back.

Here is my idea of why I think it is important for ex smokers not to vape.
I have had this discussion about e cigs , cigs and drinking with my hubby. He was a nasty ex smoker/drinker. You know one of those that looked down at people who smoked and acted grossed out by smoke etc.. God forbid we had to go to a bar and be around drunks who were smoking. I guess he liked me enough to not sneer down his nose at me and put up with my disgusting and smelly habit.

After much discussion about his ex, drinking and smoking I have figured out he did all these quitting things for her and never wanted to. He changed his whole life for her and then she didnt like him anymore and left.
I have found that he really misses the action of smoking. He likes to try and sneak my pv when I am not looking. He has not smoked a cigarette in like 10-15 yrs. This scares me because what happens if I let him vape on my pv and then they are banned or whatever. What will he do then? Go back to tobacco ? After 10-15 yrs of not having cigarettes that isnt a chance I want him to take. I have ordered 0 nic juice but I put it in a carto and let him think he is sneaking it because I dont want to encourage the behavior but I also don't want him addicted to the nic again either. He has tried to "sneak" my 36 mg cartos LOL he gags. Funny how a 48 yr old guy will act like a kid doing what they aren't suppose to. I tell him his choices are is own but it isnt a good idea. Ultimately the decision is his not mine.

I think I should also add that I feel this way about my hubby because he has not smoked for a very long time.
I quit smoking once for about 10 months and failed at my attempt. Maybe if I had a pv I would have not started again. So I guess it depends to me personally on how long the person has been an ex smoker.
If you are less then a couple years an ex smoker vaping may keep you off tobacco. If you are more then a few yrs ex smoking then why bother I guess is what my thought about the whole thing is .

I understand that, but a person who vapes is not in the position to tell an ex smoker not to vape.. That's as bad as the government trying to pass all these bills telling us not to vape.. It is no one's business but the person who wants to vape or not..

I think that's why all the governmental bans and stuff are also going on because those in office are trying to tell all of us not to smoke because it's bad (while they smoke cigars so the taxes on ciggies go up and the cigar taxes don't).. On top of the idea that vaping is good, yet they don't research how better we feel and that the vaping is basically safe, and think that since the FDA is trying to be hard on us is the reason they should follow the FDA (with the tobacco and pharmacudical companies lining the pockets of the FDA so the e-ciggies get banned because they aren't getting their kick-backs)..

It's all a mess... We try to help ourselves by quitting smoking, yet many are on our backs about it...

I did school work and smoked and when I wasn't doing that I was on FB smoking and ignoring all responsibilities. I had picked up reading some for fun.
Now, I Vape and stay back and forth between the forum and FB.
I talk about vaping so much I sometimes annoy myself. I look for reviews on liquid or see deals and have to check out the sites to see what they have....I'm pathetic really.
At least I don't stink anymore and my kids don't have to go to school smelling like that.
I'm in search of finding that "special, just right" mod for me and trying to figure out if I can get all I want in ONE stop. For example in the last 2 nights I placed orders with 3 different vendors...ONE new one for me alltogether. Whew! I think that sums it up!8-o

Hahaha you sound like me and pretty much everyone on the forum.. With 3 different e-ciggie models it's like a treasure trove looking at all the things available.. I love ordering from the stores to find out who I enjoy buying from.... A one stop shop would be wonderful..

The only mod that I've got is the Janty Stick which is great, because you can use it with 10440 rechargable battery, or you can use it with it's own USB 5-Pin Mini-B Cable (included) and plug it into your PC (and if you need another one you can always buy them online or at pretty much any store), or use a car charger, or a AC power charger with it to use in an outlet..

Only problem I have is that it is a manual and I really am looking for a Mod to be created without a button.. I like autos and am just too inept to figure out how to create a mod
