What did you do with your old ashtrays?

After my first 48 hours of no analogs I found myself dumping ashtrays and putting them away because they stunk and thought they might be tempting when I have my "moments". But then I used one in the kitchen for my ecig while I was doing dishes. So I thought why not clean them all up and use them to keep my ecig from rolling off the endtable and keep the cart end clean. What have you all done with yours?

I haven't had any in years. My wife forbade me to smoke in the house a looong time ago. Just a pail in the carport, which still gets used when my kids are at the house. I'm trying to get them to use e-cigs as well.

However, I *have* finally been able to put my jacket away in the closet. I used to feel like Mr. Rogers all the time... put on a jacket to go out and have a smoke, come on in and take it off... wash, rinse, repeat.

I like being able to just sit, relax, and vape.

I guess I will take a steel scrubbing pad and clean the black nic gunk off so I can see what the color of the ash tray is and use one to hold my e-cig in. That way my cats and ferrets won't roll it off the table in the floor.

Mine are currently cleaned and underneath my kitchen sink... Eventually I will use them to hold paper clips, thumb tacs, rubber bands, and change. I may even use some to hold my ear rings, bracelets, and necklaces.. Hmmmm I can think of tons of things...

I have one in the kitchen, one in the bedroom, and one in the living room

I keep a full 10ml bottle and a fully charged e-cig in each ashtray

I put them away for a while but the ecigs kept rolling off tables and would temp. get lost

I've been collecting tobacciana for years so I still have all of mine. I also still smoke analogs, about 5 a day...with a tar filter. I still love smoking, damnit!

i have an old amber glass and a limited edition Porsche ashtray i used for analog smoking.

now i use them to hold my spare change

I don't use ashtrays anyway - I smoke outside (yeah I still do now and then) and I use an empty soda bottle with water in it (in summer) in winter its a small bucket or can with sand.

I drink alot of tea, so my ashtrays have turned into tea-bag trays, big improvement.

I just fill them with e butts old batteries,carts , atomizers

I got rid of most of my ashtrays, but have some pretty/decorative ones that I got on holidays etc that I will keep around.

I also keep my old lighters in them, which I seem to be more attached to then cigarettes Maybe because I had so many stolen over the years...

I use mine to hold my carts. They are also useful for holding my e-cig so it doesn’t roll away. I still haven’t tried to clean my ashtray in my car though. My car is old and the ashtray was designed to hold a minimum of 2 packs of analogs. (I drive an old Cadillac.) I am more concerned on what to do with all of my cigarette cases.

IMO I think this question would do well as a poll.

I have a huge granite ashtray...I use it as an incense burner now
