Blu Cigs -- Helped the transition from analogs, but didn't help when a major craving came up
Ego T -- Awesome! Loved it. Aside from the leaking, this thing really helped out during the worst of cravings
Ego C -- Fixed 99% of the leaking issues. Not to mention cheaper and easier to change atomizers.
Ego Twist -- My first step into VV. Down side - The little Ego C atomizers couldn't keep up.
ProVari V2 -- Holy crap I love this thing. Haven't looked back since! With a tank and carto setup and newly found flavors of juice I am in Heaven. It took me a long time to drop the cash on this thing, but, Wow! Very solid and well made. Never tried any of the other companies big tube mods so I'm not going to judge. To each their own and no point in getting into a battle of VV mods. There are other Threads about that.

No matter what you decide to use...in the end, you are off of analogs. That's what really matters!!

I have heard lots of people say that they have problems with the ego-t leaking but i have not had one single problem with mine, maybe i have just been lucky.

My first kit was an original 510 kit back in late '09. Before tanks, clearos, & driptips. I still feel like they're a great place to start (maybe with cartos instead of cartridges in this age of vaping; cartos came a long way IMO).

...shortly after followed by a DSE-801, KR808D, M401 (most sensitive batts ever), then an original eGo with a 306. Went back to analogs until about 2+ weeks ago, and was able to quit stinkies with an RN4081 carto + auto batt setup (Metro kit, if you must know). Now I'm back to eGos, but this time using various cartos & Vision CE4 clearos. A lot has happened in the vaping world since my first foray and I'm stoked to see original polyfill cartridges going the way of the dodo. Fluval, auto drip spring mod, straw mod, and polyfill replacement methods executed poorly combined with bad tasting juice turned me off to the whole thing for awhile.

That 510 kit still works fine after unearthing it, one of original atties JUST died (probably because I suck at dripping, even with driptip). Have an RN4081 to 510 thread adapter to use with 510 batts as a backup with locally bought Metro cartos (pricey at 3 pack for $10, but would rather overpay for those locally than going back to Camels).

In Feb. 2012 I started out with:
1-disposable e cigs - Blu
2-ego tank system - ok
3-spark plug - crap
4-Boge Leo with cartomizor - good
5-Boge Revolution V2.1 - good bottomfeeder
6-5v box mod - maximum vapors - great mod
7-starfire vv - echarleston - good mod
8-roughstack v2 - awesome - lost it though - bummer
9-Reosmods mini - just ordered it, haven't got it yet, can't wait.

I was given a generic 808 cig-like. It kind of works.

808's vary greatly in quality as i can attest to trying various vendors 808's. the one that stand above all the others in my experience is the vapor4life brand.
suffice it to say i quit cigs- and i am now off the ecigs.
the electronic cigarette did what i wanted to do-quit cigs.

i kind of went in a mish-mosh direction with my pv buying:

after trying a crappy mini and falling in love with vaping, i went straight to an ego-t within days -- loved the ego, hated the t, lol...then i bought several other pv's, trying to replicate the cigarette look and feel -- 510's, kr808's, etc...hated those, so i bought an echo, which although large, was automatic and held a lot of juice...thought i was impressed at first, but not so much after a while...

i loved the quality of the 1000mah ego-t batteries so much, i then went on a search for the "perfect" carto for it, trying just about every single one...i finally settled on boge 2.0 xxl's...for now. ;)

Started with halo G6. They went bad within first few days although customer support was great but it was too late. I had turned them into USB passthroughs. Then I ordered a legit yet passthrough from vapor4life and a provape1<(lifetime warranty, batteries came charged) All I need so far. I prefer 510 fittings and mostly use LR cartos/tanks.

1- ego t - bearable, CE4 system.... don't like it.
2- ego twist/ smoktech DCT - :) heaven.

I've heard that using VV with the DC tanks and cartos makes all the difference; I liked the DC mega cartos, but my standard 1000mah 3.7v didn't seem to be sufficient to make these things scream. Long draws on super thin liquids were good, but that's about it (pop pop pop mmmm). Once I get a twist I'll be trying them again.

I have been vaping for about 2 weeks now with my first ever PV which is an EGO-t, I decided after quite a lot of research not to bother with the so called "mall cigs" as i think they are a rip off. What was your first PV and how long ago did you buy it?

I started out with an ego-t about 2 1/2 months or so ago, upgraded to the ego-c about 2 or 3 weeks later when that first ego-t atomizer died.

I went in this order:
Analog cig look-alike (while still smoking analogs)
Ego-t
Ego-c twist
Lavatube (on its way, can't wait!)

I'm between step 2 and 3 right now. Next payday'll either be a polypro tank or a twist. Or maybe the E2 tank...or maybe more CE3 XLs...or maybe...or maybe... :D
