It's not that people don't care, Willie. I would imagine most everyone does. We are also concerned that the media seems to be masking the real cause of what happened. By doing so, they are not only not focusing on the real cause, the illicit substances these people were vaping, but also that they keep on adding to the current hysteria over vaping. Because THAT is likely to end up causing the death of a whole lot of people who will no longer have vaping nicotine as an alternative to cancer-causing combustible cigarettes.

Yes, I do feel for the kids, yes they are stupid, most human beings are from time to time, but most people are mad, not about the deaths etc., but how they are being used in the media.
I usually do at least a couple stupid things before breakfast.
It's not about the kids though. They are doing what kids do. They are being exploited : first by the seller then by the media.
If I was a parent I would be furious-- with the MEDIA.

That makes me not want to get one. I mean I don't even like squonking. I probably won't. I mean, I highly doubt I will ever squonk with a mechanical mod anyway!

I believe that turned out to be false, but no one would ever know from the media. I think it turned out he was just a schizophrenic. What they did find in his system was the legal stuff that can trigger people who are prone to schizophrenia.
