Here's the problem. New vapers may benefit from temp control, as they may be more prone to dry hits. Experienced vapers, not so much, because they no longer get them. Problem is, experienced vapers are more likely better able to make coils which work with temp control devices, but at that point, they no longer need temp. control, because they no longer get the dry hits...

I hear your logic and it makes sense, but since there's a lot of variables in this game; since most of it is DIY today, from every aspect, TC, TP, even for experienced vapers (of whom have wide and varied tastes and preferences) tends to cut the time consumption and fuss down substantially...
more enjoyment into the calculation.

Temperature control benefits all vapers. It's a completely different paradigm.

Subtank, Atlantis, Nautilus, gimlet.... More and more are popping up as weeks go by. Just pop them in your tank and enjoy temp control goodness. Probably don't even need opposable thumbs to make those work.

Those aren't mods. Who makes a tube mod with temp control which is not made in China?

A DNA 25 or DNA40 with an Aspire Nautilus or Kanger Subtank with pre-made nickel coils.... works for me....and others I think.... awaiting nickel coils for the Atlantis...

I don't like box mods or mods made in China. There are no options until ProVape releases a P3 update with temp. control and coils for Kayfun4...

Tatroe makes one. Also, the kf4 is terrible for temp control because of the spring.

A flask is just a curvy box. This is why ProVape will be the only option, for me. Apparently they are working on a tank, which I believe will be released with the TC/TP software update...

Your "low adoption rates" based on your findings are not congruent imo...
Majority of vapers imo wouldn't go so far as to say they've only had 1 dry hit, even if they were using thinner kanthal.

The difficulty of using Nickle vs eliminating dry hits is lopsided.
The benefit far outweighs the trouble (negligible).

I was reporting on my experiences with TC and nickel/titanium. Are they a universal truth for all vapers? Certainly not.
I also consider myself a hobbyist and had fun working out the kinks and issues with the nickel builds, however not everyone enjoys messing with things to this degree.

You may find nickel and TC easy to use and greatly beneficial to you and if it works well for you, great! Please accept different opinions as well.

TC seems like a step in the right direction, but it is my personal opinion that the technology is just not quite there yet.
Not sure why half the posts in this thread feel like 'sponsored by evolv', and any criticism is met by "You are holding it wrong."

I already own a device, there is no need to sell me one :p

Indeed. Also, where's this provari temp control news? That would be awesome, simply because they would have to offer at least a 30 watt device.

I don't see one on the CigTechs site.
I don't see ProVape releasing anything until regulations are passed, so maybe this year or next year...
