I actually use alcohol sometimes and a water soak/dry burn other times. I'm still experimenting to find what works best, but if the atty is really performing badly, I go with the water/burn to try to resurrect it! I haven't lost an atty yet, but it's only been a month+. They never get back to new, but the performance does get a lot better. I like to squeeze all the life I can out of attys...I guess to show them whose boss!!! LOL

Yes, you missed the best method in my opinion, which is dry burns.

I blow my atomizer out once or twice per day.
And I rinse with hot water and do dry burns as needed, maybe once every week or two.

This is the rinse/dry burn method I use...

Oh I apologize for that! I knew I left something out .. but I guess a dry burn could be done with any of these methods so that should be kept in mind when voting that you can use these option to clean + then dry burn after cleaning.

+1 on this. My atty's last much longer after adopting this much easier maintanance routine. Since it was not an option I had to go w/Blow out on the poll

I do blow out my atty, but everyone has too.

My cleaning method is 90% isopropyl alcohol. i only use this to get out gross flavors.

I don't clean attys anymore, because I stopped trying garbage juice flavors.

Are you suggesting that "garbage' juice is what gunks up atty's and 'good' juice does not?
