Besides peace on earth and food for all?

I realize that it is easy to go overboard (I usually have a list a couple pages long...most of it totally unrealistic) but for the purpose of conversation...how about your top five wants?

1: Trip to Maine to visit the Boss.
2: One VV REO....not sure which one though.
3: A White Christmas
4: Remodeled office
5: My 12 year old to get her act together so I can remodel her room and give her all the things I want to give her (the return of computer, her first phone, a desk, new closet, new bed, painted walls....ya know...the works.) :glare:

Yes, I realize that there is only one item on this list I am likely to get...but I can always hope. You should see the real list

1. A job
2. Some food
3. Pay some bills
4. To be able to walk without crutches (its been a year)
5. A treat for my daughter, something to make her feel special.

It would be great to have a selfish wish this year but I really can't, it would be nice to not run out of vaping supplies so that I stay sane through all this, but all I can do is try my best to hang on, there are alot of people out there just like me this year. Maybe not alot who have had two broken ankles, but alot who are struggling, I wish them all the best.

For me the #1 always will be that all life on earth knows what love, peace and happiness is.

The #2 wish is that my fur baby would somehow regain his vision back (it would take a miracle but hey, I believe in miracles :))

The #3 wish for me is another mini (I have a good feeling this one will come true)

#4 wish is that each of you get your wishes!

"Christmas" is every day here, especially when DH comes home safe and healthy to us.

I haven't made a list, yet, but I'll bet I could compete with Lisa.

I got some Christmas gifts today. DH had two days off in a row, after working two weeks, out of town, with very few nights at home, we went (mostly food shopping) together, and he actually came in to Home Depot (he hates Home Depot) to pick up a fireplace tool, and ate out. Had a traditional martini up, 2 olives, and one sliver of ice floating in it. Been years and it was delish.

Biggest "gift" was DH informing me he is taking off his three days out-of-town for Thanksgiving!!!!!! That has made up for the Cowboys getting stomped by the Eagles tonight! We delayed it and I'm still watching and I don't know why.
