What does debridging and dewicking mean?

I've noticed that people mention about debriding and dewicking 306 attys to make them work better. What does that mean ? Pardon my noob but i'm new in Reo family and still haven't received my mini

Lots of videos on YouTube that show you how to do it. Just use search terms like "dewick" and "306" and you'll probably find several.

Watching it being done while the uploader explains it will serve you better than whatever rambling text I might offer.

How to debridge:
