What does it look like when a coil touches an RDA wall and shorts?

Just a simple question and I will probably delete the thread if no further discussion ensues. But I am asking because I have an rda here and the coils come very close to the wall and may be shorting, but it fires just fine and reads just fine. I will post some photos in the thread also but if the coils were to touch the RDA wall would it still fire correctly and how would it read on an ohm reader, would the resistance change? I would be Very Careful of any type of Short when using a Mech Mod.

If the resistance doesn't change and it tastes fine you're good.
If it does start to taste burnt and making odd sounds you might push them back a bit.

Bang on there whiteowl.
Youre on a mech mod though so check frequently. If you were on a regulated mod id say no worries your ohms will drop if youre shorting.
My honest opinion would be to drop 1 wrap from the build. Or lower your ID by .5mm

Check for scorch-marks inside the topcap, sometimes they'll form from arcing.

Yeah, I have been checking a lot, I am just going to get it completely rebuilt as it did short recently and my buddy burned his lip when it happened. In the meantime, I am using my other rda with a build with much more clearance.
