What gives the TH?

I vape menthol only. The first lot I vaped was from Leo. 24mg menthol and had a great cool TH and could taste the menthol.
Now ordered 30 bottles of Deep Forest 16mg menthol and no TH or any menthol taste.
Should I mix it with 36mg tobacco or add menthol crystals to it?
Is it the higher tobacco or the higher flavour that gives the TH?

"Throat hit" tends to be pretty subjective and can be influenced by a lot of things. Take at look at this article from the Wiki.

Cannot get menthol crystals anywhere in Cape Town. So got me some peppermint cold remedy. 2.5% peppermint oil mixed with ethanol. Evaporated the ethanol in a bowl. Took about 2 hours. Was then left with some oil. Three drops into my 10ml dropper gave me a burned taste. Diluted it with about 25% of 16mg menthol juice and a good cold TH again.
Too expensive though.

Try and get 36mg liquid for more throat hit, and if you dilute it down use pg as glycerine seems to take away the throat hit. Phone around local pharmacies, menthol crystals are the way to go, I think oil might not be good for your atomizers.

PG and nicotine provide majority of the TH. Menthol and mint will to some degree.

Exactly... a higher PG content and higher nicotine should help... also your ohm+voltage combination..

I have 3 atty's that are temperamental. I tried to moer the inside out with a hammer and small nail, but only managed to break the metal gauze so I removed it with a paper clip. Lo and behold, it now burns red and gives a TH.
Strange?
