Is anyone else having issues with smileomizers? On black Monday 12/1/14 I ordered 2 10pks of large smileomizers. These have the new emblem on them. The last time I ordered smileomizers was on 9/18/14 and they didn’t have the new emblem on them.

I have tried 2 smileomizers from the new batch of smileomizers I ordered on 12/1/14. Both smileomizers have a very tight/hard draw to them (even from the start). They have only lasted 2 days at best before they are worthless and burnt. I was getting at least 10 days or more out of all the other smileomizers I have used in the past. No, I haven’t changed anything, I am still using the same juice, same Zeus batteries, same amount of vaping…the only change has been in the smileomizers.

What happen to the smileomizers?

I am frustrated; I spent a lot of money on a worthless product. Now I have to track down other vendors that might sell something similar and then test those out, if this is the way V4L new smileomizers are going to be

Thanks K9Luvr: I will contact CS. Tese are from the new batch, they came in the white box and have the new emblem on them. I am really hoping it is some bad ones I got rather then the new smileomizers have been completely changed. Thanks again.

Well according to Gabe the new ones come in a white box, so if your having problems with them you should let them know.

I have had the new white box ones too I have used two of them now thing I notice is there really had to prime by that I mean you put in the required 100 or more drops then you think hey great im full! Ok so in about 20 or 30 drags you'll start to taste that empty taste huh whats the deal! So you refill only to flood your brand new cart darn it! after carefully doing the empty flooded thing several times they start to work better then they seem to last longer then the old ones. My two highly trained technical thoughts the wadding in the cart if not something new is way to darn tight second when your batty is low on power makes the juice in the new carts taste bad. So yeah I really dont know the true answer except these are not the smilenizers of old!

Just when I was thinking it was just a bad batch sent to me, since I wasn't seeing any comments from others about a problem with the new smileomizers....you came along and spoiled it. The one thing I noted was the very tight draw which you seem to be seeing too in the filling of the smileomizer. I suspect with the wadding so tight this may result in a lousy taste and smileomizers wearing out much faster. Something sounds fishy with these, I hope I can figure it out to make them better and last longer.

On a good note: after contacting CS Gabe replied and V4L will be doing an exchange for me. I just hope the ones I get will be better then this last batch. I really hate to think this is now what smileomizers are going to be like.

I have experimented by sticking a needle into mine here and leaving it filled for awhile before using poked it a few times it is tight but might be normal so with a new batty fresh i mean so far tastes better will see if it vapes longer too V4L is awesome about exchanges but id rather get mine to work then bother with returning.

I gonna have to experiment too if the new ones prove to be as bad as the other batch. I would much rather they fix the issue too but unless they get a lot of customers complaining I suspect they won't.

I am confused as to why nobody else in this forum is having issues. Maybe nobody else in this forum uses smileomizers or maybe it's just us two that seem to be having an issue (hard to believe).

There are many threads discussing problems with the smileo's, they have been having problems with them for months.

Yes, I had notice a thread discussing smileomizers but appeared to center around the older smileomizers. I was very happy with the older smileomizers, admittedly I did get a few (more then what I would have like) that were just bad from the start (burnt from the start) but overall they were pretty darn nice.

If the new smileomizers (the ones in the white box) that I got the other week are an example of the "new and improved" it's time to start looking around for other vendors (at least until V4L fixes this issue). I am still hoping that the order I received the other week is just a bad batch from the new smileomizers but won't know that till I get the exchange smileomizers that CS is sending.

    Hi Everyone -
I have been experimenting withe new Smileomizer based on your comments. I am not having longevity issues, but the tight draw seems to be a common enough complaint that I will look into that in the next design.

For me - the draw gives me more of a hit than the old model. Am I the only one who feels that way?

    Thanks.
    Steve

Your probably the only one that feels that way. I liked them until this last batch and I've been using these since almost the beginning. I had a few issues this last time, but only with a specific juice. I just placed another smileomizer order this morning so we'll see. Seriously though Steve if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I can't comment as to whether the batch of smileomizers I received the other week were a bad batch or the result of the "new and improved smileomizer" until I get the replacements - but I can say from the batch I did receive they were very disgusting. If you can get over the tight draw, then you are stuck with a smileomizer that doesn't taste good and only last a fraction of the time of the older smileomizers.

I did read on the V4L forum from someone else who had tried the new smileomizer: they suggested (I am going to try this myself) to use the metal tip from the older smileomizers as they have a little bigger hole in them which helps reduce the tight draw. Seems that the new smileomizer metal tip piece has a smaller hole in it causing it to draw much tighter.

As Scott58 said, if it ain't broken don't fix it :).

I will chime in here - just started using the new simleomizers and so far I have gone through 3 in 3 days - not happy with that. I have been using these since they came out and never had issues with the old ones. I will try a couple more and contact V4L if it continues this pattern.

Edit: I will say they taste great out of the box. :)

I was wondering if you still have any of the old smileomizers in stock? How hard would it be to bring the old smileomizers back into production?

I should receive my replacements tomorrow. I will then know if I had a bad batch of new smeliomizers or if that is the way the new and improved smileomizers are going to be.

emb, I hope, by bringing back the old smileo's, you aren't referring to the ones we have been having issues with for months.
