What Happened?? My Ultrafire 18650 Expanded!!

I'm new to rechargable batteries one of my batteries that came with my SB was on the charger and expanded and now one side of the charger no longer works either. Are these type of batteries not suppose to be left on the charger for much time after the light turns green? Sorry for sounding like a dumbass but these are the first rechargable lithiums I have ever had and they had no instructions that I know if.

Ive never had one do that. sounds like a bad battery. I would use it even if you could. get another battery to be safe.

Sounds like the charger/batt is defective. Please don't use either again. The battery is already compromised and it's not worth the potential of it exploding or venting. Buy another charger and some extra batts. They are not that expensive and it's a simple "cost vs value" proposition.
