i work on midrange IBM platforms. (the same hardware used for the famous Watson that appeared on Jeopardy ) as far as a general web server admin the pay isn't nearly as good as a system admin on large systems thankfully i'm just a developer/sys admin/network guy...but i get paid for only one of those jobs lol

yes my last company was ( at one time ) in the top 100 VAR's ,we mostly sold to the gov and gov contractors and all ibm's .
Pres sold to a back east co who promptly ruined it ,sold it ,then sold again and is now employee owned by our former guys in Maryland .Too bad i dont live in maryland .I'd have a job.Or at least some damn good contacts .
