As this thread amongst other things (including myfitnesspal linking to apps) has been extremely motivating, I figured I'd share my new fitness endeavors. So, in addition to walking/jogging/staggering...I'm also doing sit-ups, pushups, and squats with the help of some runtastic apps. And today I managed 20 pushups, which is a pretty big accomplishment for me. The goal is 100 in a set in approximately 3 months build up time.

Congrats. I have been eating well but with work being so crazy right now I haven't been exercising, but I get my fair share at work. Cooking and cutting up 20 turkeys ewwwww. I have my fitness pal too. And a couple of other apps. Lets keep this thread going. Things will settle down by Monday I hope

Good idea. Haven't made a resolution in years and years. Maybe it's time for one or two.
Maybe I'll resolve to do as many push-ups in a year as Erin does in a day. I can do that one. I think!!

I honestly couldn't do it without an app to tell me to do them, how many to do, how long to rest between sets, and to count them for me. I'm an exercise sheeple who is hoping that a bit of consistency will eventually train my brain into a pavlovian response to the phone signaling alert thingy.
