But I have to say my sleep addled brain thought (just for a second) that the front of it had an awesome blue led screen and you could make a phone call with it... LOL.
This undoubtedly proves that lack of sleep, being sick and ECF browsing may not be a good combination.
Regardless, it is awesomely shiny and looks sharp - even if you can't make a call with it.

Yeah, I stripped off the anodizing with sodium hydroxide, AKA Lye. Then I had to sand the main body with 100 grit because it was severely pitted, and did not match the smooth door, followed by a wet-sand with 1200. Then polished it with Mothers® Mag & Aluminum Polish.

If I would have seen this coming I would have sent you a polished mod I have stripped a few of them not a road I like to travel on.Nice workbehind the anodizing.
