Hey Ecf,

So i'm buying devices and tanks like they're going out of style, below is what i have not counting my 10-15 RDAs and Mech mods that i don't use anymore.

REGULATED MODS:
IPVD2, IPVD3
IPV3 Li with upgrade to 200 Watts
Wismec Rx200 with firmware upgrade v1.07
Sigeli 150 TC, Sigeli 150 Watt

SUB OHM TANKS:
Aspire Atlantis v1
Delta II
SMOK TCT
Herakles Plus
Uwell Crown

MY ISSUES:
Herakles Plus tank: is horrible, glad it was only $29.99.. even with the on and off valve shut this thing floods and does crazy hot spit back every single refill.. and i refill it every 30 minutes with the 3.4ml tank.

Uwell Crown tank: is my go to and love at the moment, only con i can find is flavor is meh.. at least with the 0.5 coils and the Stainless Steel TC doesn't work, at least not on my Wismec RX200 even after firmware update.

By the way the UWell tank is great and i don't have to refill but every hour which is great for me (I don't vape during the day so when i get home im vaping from 7pm - 11pm and i go through about 4 tanks.

SMOK TCT tank is okay.. o-rings to tight and caused me to break the glass tank the first day owning it.. and no shops carry the coils unless ordered online which i don't do that often but im also trying to stay away from nickel.

Other tanks i own are outdated and not that good.

QUESTIONS:

1. Options on how to get the Stainless steel 0.5 coil to work with my Wismec RX200? i tried at 200 F. and 10,20,30,40,50,60 watts and just says Temp Protected.
2. Best RDTA? RTA? with no leakage, dry hits or spit back?
3. How to fix my Herakles Plus to work without spit back or flooding after every refill?
4. Options on maybe just an all around better TC Tank that doesn't need to be refilled every 30 minutes?

You want to up the temp to 440 or higher YMMV. In power mode we vape much hotter... over 600F for some.

Get an Aromamizer (Velocity deck) for $20 and a rebuildable prebuilt head for when you feel lazy.
You'll feel right at home... it's a tank slipped over an RDA. Gorgeous.
And build with SS.

BTW... Nice selection of mods. Mine include the D2, RX and the lesser Sig75.

And yes... the TCT bites. Even pulling one of the lower rings, it's tight as hell.
And the Crown RBA will always be crap for wicking.

Thanks, i appreciate the input, by the way where can i get the Aromamizer for $20? The only reason i haven't gotten one is because its $40+ i've seen them go as low as $35 but never $20.

Also i tried the SS 0.5 coil on the UWell Crown at 500 F. at 60 Watts and its great but if i go straight power mode with the same coil at 55 watts it chucks more vapor and flavor is about the same, is there a preference you've read about or tried that makes it just as good in vapor but better flavor?

VapeNW for the Mizer.

TC will always be a smoother, but less vaporous vape even with high wattage. But because of the TC, you can target and hold the optimum temp for each juice/flavor profile. But yeah... the Crown rocks high voltage. :D

I'm slowly switching over to SS where I can so I have the option of either TC or Power mode depending on mood.

Yeah thats my plan as well, surprisingly the RX200 after the firmware update, Stainless Steel is running very smooth, i have no idea how accurate it is because i can't compare it to any other device as this is my only S.S. T.C. mod, but like i said 460 - 500 F. at 60 Watts produces a very warm vape and actually hot depending how long you take a drag. Flavor however is... meh.. but that may be my problem because its DIY ejuice and at 100% VG and only 1 flavor mix of Banana Nut Bread flavor isn't outstanding but its not bad.

It will only get as hot as your set temp limit... with the proper TCR value.

If Joyetech hurry up and finish the TCR Adjust update for the RX like they just dropped for our VTCs (Wismec is a JT subsidiary)... we'll be some damn happy RX owners. :D

It seems you have the same setup or at least knowledge of the RX and TC settings, with the .5 stainless steel coil in the Crown, will setting the watts change anything or is that more gimmicky and its all about the Temp Setting? My question comes from the fact that i run Titanium on my Royal Hunter Mini which is on my IPVD2 and there is no Watt option, its just Temp only. If it does make a difference, from your knowledge what would you suggest it to be set to? Same as if it was in normal watt mode? 60 watts?

First... the D2 (YiHi chip family?) uses Joules for TC power setting. Watts = Joules, Joules = Watts.

For TC power... consider what you would use for that build in Power Mode, that's a good ballpark.
Temp setting is an upper limit, in a perfect world with a perfect TC mod. Wattage/Joules will determine how fast your coil(s) will get there and the max power the mod will use to do it and hold it there.
Too much and the mod can overshoot, or even "porpoise" around the set temp... going too high, too low, too high, etc. It's even considered a central purpose of TC by some, along with max temp and dry hit prevention, that you get to go "bang" and hit your temp very fast, but remain there without overheating your vape. I agree... set properly, you get max flavor and preferred temp with any length of pull.

Some sage advice I read... set your power as you would without TC, then max the temp setting and try to watch your screen display as you take a normal (to you) pull. You're looking to see if it maxes out and at what temp. Then set your TC temp about 10F higher and have at it. Increase your power to reach and hold that temp quicker if you like.
Season to taste... as in, adjust both up/down for the particular juice. Some are picky.

Vaping Cheap isn't a store, just a review site that posts deals. That post is linked to the deal at a site called ecig.com. I haven't bought from them but many here have and say it's reputable. I haven't seen a negative post about them yet. I think they are here in Tx. I checked out VapeNW yesterday and they are definitely a reputable vendor. They have a better price too. I would actually give them my money instead if I were buying it.

Love the reply, very informative, appreciate the time it took to write it. I'll be doing this later this afternoon when i get home to vape!

I'd rather pay less for a known authentic.

Be careful with possible clones. You DO NOT want one... they're utter crap.

Clones can be just as good and sometimes better than the real thing, just have to read the reviews first. The only clone atty I have ever had that was really a piece of junk was a KFL+, the channels were too narrow. I failed to read the reviews and paid the price. On the other hand though if a clone is 20 and an authentic is 50, I'll go real everyday, I try clones when the real thing is 100+, just to see if I like the setup. A good example, I bought a DNA30 clone way back and liked it, so I dropped the 180 on a vaporshark. I bought a clone aqua v2, didn't care for it and saved some money, I like my real Aqua v1 (and clone) much better.
