My mod is best. My device is best. My juice is best. Deal with it.

:p Just kidding. I agree with most everything you said. :)

 I believe you gthompson :?: yes I do

GT's wife???? ^^^^ J/K I couldn't help myself

Most reasonable Provari owners would never recommend them as a first device. Ignore the fanboys.

Golly, I didn't realize there were reasonable Provari owners

Yeah, there are a Few of us out there. ;)

Shortly after I started vaping (May 2012), I started using a twist with a clearo. But because I was chasing that elusive perfect vape, I've bought cartos, tanks, a Provari, a REO, e-Rolls, vivi novas, etc. I still use all of those things (except the cartos, don't like cartos) but about seventy percent of the time I use the twist with the same style clearo I used in those first months. It works for me. It isn't perfect, but it's closer to perfect than all the others I've tried, especially now that the heads can be easily changed. The twist doesn't have the power or the battery life of the Provari, but it's more comfortable to hold. I don't regret buying the other systems since I love using them to change things up and in specific circumstances, but my best purchase would be the twists I bought. I just bought some Protanks because they are similar to the clearos I like, but hold more juice. I'm sure I'll buy other items in the future that catch my fancy. But I don't worry about what others are saying is the best, most powerful, right way to do it. I know that there are a lot of members who hate the clearo I use and have nothing but bad things to say about it---doesn't matter because it's what works for me.

Even though I use the clearos a lot of members warned against, I still appreciate all the reviews, suggestions, charts, and advice on here. I just take what helps me and skim through the rest, knowing that it probably applies to some other member and will help them. And if I can offer some advice or tell about an experience I had that might help another member, I do. It's all part of belonging to a forum. I belong to writing forums and I have to sift through those, too, because I don't need to know how to write plays or poems or mysteries and the writing process that works for others is completely wrong for me. There are members on there who are absolutely positive that they know the only correct way to create a first draft. I skim their posts to see if there is anything that is worthwhile to me and then move on. I think you have to do that on any board you visit, not just here.

Let me think......clearo that gets a bad rap.......Nova? :D
If so, that's my only delivery system that I use. Super easy, no muss, no fuss. ;)

No, the infamous "Stardust" or CE4. I use nova's too, but the draw is a little airy for me. Mention Stardust and some members foam at the mouth, but if you really want to get them heated, say you ordered them from gotvapes. It's a nice tool to have when things get a little stagnant around here.

Yeah...of course their is a "literal" answer and that is ultimately personal taste(preference)...BUT I ask questions so I can get other people's opinions, and without that I would have had to go through a whole bunch of bs trying out different things, products, techniques, etc....which equals money wasted, frustration, and ultimately I would still be on analogs...so like the saying goes, "if it doesn't apply, then let it fly!".

Sorry if it sounds like I took offense to your post, but I know their are a whole bunch of people out there that need this forum , these threads, and the questions and answers that are found here.

If it really bothers you that much then don't read them; use the search box

I've never been involved in any field - bicycles, metal detectors, model airplanes, you name it - where there was not a healthy population of what I call equipment weenies. You'll find 'em on the ski slopes, tennis courts, stereo shops, and yes, on vaping forums. Snobbishness seems to be part of human nature. These people often have very good tips and advice, so I try to take it all with a grain of salt and overlook people's flaws because I know I have my own.

I don't give a flying fruit bat what anyone uses as long as they stop smoking and have fun. I use all of my gear: cig-a-likes, standard eGos, Twists and the dreaded ProThingy. Starting small has some great advantages: it builds confidence and vape mail can feel like Christmas morning when (if) you move up to more advanced gear. Everyone has their own preferences and comfort level.

But there is one thing I am absolutely not wrong about, and that is some juices can destroy clearos, tanks and (non-metal) Vivi Novas.

I had to like your post, I agree so much!

I'm new to vaping (besides my 510 I bought in 2010, but once my pre-filled cartos ran out, I never played with it again).

I started a thread in the newbie forum, asking what I should get for my 2nd vape device.

Most of the recommendations said ego twist, and then I got different delivery devices....such as vivi nova, pro tank, cartos, etc.

Well, I decided to get some blank cartos to try out, and an evod bcc. Don't like the cartos (just like you), but i LOVE my evod.

Because of that, I ordered another one, and just now ordered a pro tank, because I they are both bottom coil, and I think I'll like it.

Now, I have NO desire to play around with other devices. I am EXTREMELY happy with my ego twist batteries, LOVE the EVOD, and am happy to try out the pro tank when it arrives. Im happy right where I am, and I have no desire to chase the next best thing :)

The way this industry changes daily in delivery systems and batts and APV mods, I still look for input from users of the newer items and I have been at this for awhile :) Something I don't listen too much tho is juice reviews because taste is just so individual. bnrk
what I did to start put was to find a couple of juices I liked, then found a reviewer who also liked them. Since that reviewer has similar tastes, I followed along for trying new juices until my tastes changed. Then I followed along with the reviewer who had tastes similar to my new ones. THEN my tastes changed again but I am confident on what I like and know how to find it. ;)

I....

note of my experience. I did not like the protank to start with. The draw was too airy and it muted the flavors.
I fixed the airy draw with a vanity ring that restricted it and fixed the flavor by building a new wick for it myself... Just in case you get the same issues ;). Many people like it right off the bat!

Not to argue, but I see it the other way around. Some tanks are made out of carcinogenic plastics that should never be used to store anything intended for human consumption.
