I've been looking around but it seems like no site has everything I'm looking for.

Does anyone know where I can purchase the following:
E-Cigarrete Starter kit (e-cig looks like real cig and has a US charger)
Menthol pre loaded cartridges
Menthol e-liquid

Ok I think I may have found what I'm looking for:

E-Cigarette Mart

  • Super E-Cig Kit (1 Atomizing device, 2 Lithium batteries, 1 Charger, 5 Atomized cartridges)
  • 50 Menthol Cartridges
  • 2 Atomizers (for a total of 3)
  • 1 battery (for a total of 3)

Total is 130 bucks

What do you all think

You wont find most people who want to associate with a look alike cigarette here. We are mostly people who want to walk away from the analoge cigarette of the past. There is alot to mention here, but if you smoke one of those in public you are interested in confrontation from others. Most of us would like to steer clear of that.

Most serious long time smokers who are on this site, are just looking for an aternative to help to give up analoges and try again to live a healthy life. If you just want to flaunt a cig look alike in public for the attention or confrontation you can do a search on google.

I beleive I am speaking for the majority in saying it is better to differentiate from an analogue cigarette or the personal vaporizer.

Please could you conduct a poll rather than speak for the 'majority' without their consent. My personal experience leads me to think that there is a more even balance but the only way to find out is to poll members.

Welcome to this wonderful and diverse forum.
I don't know the product but my advice would be to cross reference the reviews in the review section with the suppliers list and then have a look on their websites. If you find something that seems right come back here and do a search for that product. The time and effort spent on research will be worth it as we all have individual preferences and might swear by 'brand x' which others think is rubbish. Take the time and get a balanced view. There are loads of topics covered in the new members forum, have a look.

Before you buy their super cheap 901 with free shipping, check out the warranty and shipping details. Basically, it means no warranty (only 7 days compared to 12 months for other products) and they don't care whether you receive your order or not. There is no tracking number and you are on your own after product is shipped. You should not even contact them unless its after 20 days and even if you contact them after 20 days, they claim that there is nothing they can do for you. Basically, they can take your money and not ship anything to you, then claim that it is lost in the mail.

Buyer beware. There are many other suppliers from China with good prices.

Hi New,
An e-cig that is the same size as a real cig is a micro or DSE084. You can find a picture of it at www.lallaboutique.com. They also carry the menthol carts and e-liquid. You'll want to contact the owner about getting a US charger. Also there was a review of it done by igetcha, and its posted in this forum. Here's the link (I hope it works):
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/video-reviews/12581-hi-def-ultra-realistic-dse084-review.html

I use a micro and really like it. The drawbacks of having a smaller e-cig is that it does come with smaller carts and batts. That means that neither one of them will last as long as a larger e-cig. I ended up buying the USB passthrough battery and a power pack so I wouldn't have to keep recharging the batteries. The carts I just fill with liquid a batch at a time and are easy enough to replace. The cool thing is that the carts come with little screw tops! :)

Personally, if you're smart you wouldnt try smoking ecigs just yet in ANY public place where regular smoking is not allowed (in other words, indoors). For outdoors smoking in public areas i happen to prefer using an ecig that looks like an analog so that i wont attract any attention to myself...ive been doing this for 2 weeks now and nobody even gives me a 2nd look. If you're smoking an ecig that looks like paraphernalia (all black with blue lights for example) you WILL attract attention to yourself without a doubt and most folks will probably think you are doing illegal drugs or something...watch out for police getting curious about you if you plan on smoking this way...its not a brilliant idea to do right now since theres very little public awareness of it.

If you want excitement, fine...but if you just want to continue with life as it was and not be noticed then just use an analog look alike, and only use it where smoking is allowed. Use common sense and you'll have zero problems....but try to take it into a nite-club and be a smart ... about it and youll end up in a fight im sure.

I believe it is fair to say that most people who are new to vaping look for a Personal Vaporiser that resembles a tobacco cigarette as much as possible. I remember that I felt the same way when I was first introduced to these devices more than a year ago because I believed at the time that this would be an important factor for the vaping experience to be a satisfying one.

However, as one progresses, the desire for a device that resembles 'the real thing' becomes less and less attractive. I found out that in pratice it wasn't an important factor to me at all, what mattered was the amount of vapour, throat hit, flavour, how long the batteries lasted (this definitely moves you away from the smaller devices that look like 'the real thing' !), and the general sense of satisfaction the vaping experience of the device provided.

And now, with all the hullabaloo around possible bans and such, it has become even more important to move as far away as possible from anything that looks even remotely like a tobacco cigarette. I have found that when vaping in public, using a device that looks like 'the real thing' ultimately cofuses people and sometimes makes them prematurely negative to what I am doing.

That said, it is a personal choice and we all have the right to learn as we go along. Although what Agnes Peacock is saying may possibly be true (and not entirely convinced of it as there are enormous numbers of people on this forum who are new to vaping), perhaps the way in which it was stated could have been more nuanced and included a bit more explanation for the OP, who is obviously new to vaping.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Silver

PS: Forgot to mention; welcome to the forum New :) ! This is truly a great place with lots of wonderful and supportive members who will gladly help you as much as they are able to. I too have no experience with this particular device or Seller, but IMO Letzin Hales' suggestion is excellent, doing the research will help you make a decision. Hopefully someone will be along shortly who does have experience with this device/Seller and give you their opinion.
