What is a drip shield?

I am pretty new to all this and can't seem to find a drip tip I like, however I have seen some drip shield's I like. I use a Smoktech Pyrex Vivi Nova which is a 510. Can I use a drip shield instead of a drip tip???

No, a drip shield is used with a dripping atomizer. It simply prevents eliquid from dripping out of the sides of the atty if you overfill it.

I definitely need some of those. I use my Atty when i let friends try my flavors. They put like 6 or 7 drops when I tell them just do two. Lol

If you can't find a drip shield you like (or one won't fit on your battery) you can always just get a 510 to 510 sealed connector. This will stop any excess drips from going into the battery center post. I use one all the time when dripping on my spinner. It's like a little $2.99 insurance policy.
