Please provide links to your suggestions of quality starter kits that one might/should/could be satisified with for a very long time

Should a newbie purchase a fully assembled unit that has everything, or should they purchase parts individually?

Also, many shops in LA have their own starter type kits. Much different from what is suggested in this forum. Online stuff seems better and cheaper than what I've seen in local stores.

Please provide links to quality starter kits, or links to purchase a full set up individually.

Since you're in LA I'd suggest you find a local vape store to go to. They can go over how everything works for you and show you different kits. They will probably have a juice bar to let you try different flavors before you buy. A ego style kit. 2 batteries 2 clearomizers a charger and where I got mine gave me a free bottle of juice with the kit.

Define "Best".

No fair. You didn't reply, just edited original post.....

Define "quality" then. Features? Construction? Do you want to be able to drive a truck over it? Do you want to rebuild it? Do you care if it has variable voltage? LED or no LED?

Want it gold plated? Is plastic OK?

Etc.

There's 1000 options for a reason. You have to be specific because nobody knows what you think of as "quality" or "best".

I don't prefer "pipe-bomb bottom button" mods. Others think they are the only thing that is "quality". I think they are...insufficient...in many ways.

So, it's a matter of personal preference. Replaceable battery? Pass-thru charge-as-you-vape? Voltage display?

There's "quality" levels in all areas...from imports to local.

And if this turns into another one of those "Oh WOW...I just found the ____ from _____.com and that's a quality unit!" thread I'll be real saddened.

So why not tell us more?

Greetings AnaologNoMore,

Started Vaping : July 1st, 2013

I only have one opinion :

Be VERY prepared to spend at least $180.00 USD
If you don't have that money NOW.... wait until you do.

Good Luck ! ! (If you're lucky, you may not need to spend that much...... IF YOU'RE LUCKY)

Is this a joke? Ha, ha, you got me...

See other thread user posted - kits mentioned there are between $50 and $90 depending on supplier and exact specs.

If you had to spend $180 or more then that is not funny. Sorry for laughing.

Greetings Aglet (and AnaologNoMore)...

Started Vaping : July 1st, 2013

No.... It wasn't a joke. Sorry if I didn't indicate that.
I was serious.... Just started vaping....

AnaologNoMore..... please understand that other than costs involved (listed prices) you MUST factor in defective products(devices).
Have you read the forums ? ? Aglet.... have you read the forums ?

I'm just speaking from experience.
Don't make this an argument, please.
If anything .... feel bad that I was a stupid consumer who THOUGHT he'd done enough research.
Apparently....from your comment.... I didn't.

I was looking into this as a secondary back up kit for me but the only thing I hate is the heads are all 2.5 ohm and the battery is only a 3.7 voltage. IMO that is not enough power for me for that high of a ohm.

But if you use 1.8 to 2.2 ohms in them they will be great! I have a couple of evods with those heads that I use on a standard ego battery and it works wonderful!

I found it cost me only $50 to start vaping, and that included 50ML of juice for a month and 2 1100a batteries, 2 clearomizers, 2 chargers, and 1 lanyard and a carrying case...if ya read these forums and a couple hours of research U can get into this very inexpensively...BTW, congrats 20yrs+ on your new venture into vaping, U will be very happy with this regardless how much U initially spent...

Most recommended starter kit on the New Members Forum is:

http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

Not underpowered, nor over-powered. Add juice, strong juice to start. You can beat the Smoking Monster with this kit. I did, and many others have too. I totally agree with Atty about your preferences. However, you may have no idea, so why not trust the Veterans on this? I was a 35 year, 3 PAD smoker, who failed at quitting exactly 18 times, all serious efforts. By the way, this kit, with juice, and shipping is less than $90. Welcome, good luck, Power Up and Vape On!

My first PV was a Mech Mod bought almost 2 yrs ago. Still looks and fires great BUT along the way I have bought other PVs cuz I wanted VV and VW. VV eGo class are a nice start but they are disposable.
Now using a Vamo at home and a 1300 mah Spinner for out and about and I find I really don't have the need to purchase another PV.

I picked up a joyetech ego C-twist for 80 bucks (swapped out the standard cartos for boge low res and also bought a bottle of The Standard's curious jorge in addition to the freebie pink spot flavor i received with the kit) and the build quality is phenomenal, vapor is abundant and flavorful, and variable voltage is a god send. Used to have a blunt-e and while it was a great unit, it simply couldn't hold up to the standard set by the ego c-twist. This is in regard to both build and vapor quality. That said, blunt e's vapetech juices are fantastic, made with only natural flavors, and have a great throat hit feeling. The budd atomizers for the blunt e were sort of disappointing and longevity was an issue, but for how cheap they were, they certainly did the trick.
