I am sorry if this has been asked a million times. I tried the googles and searched everywhere. No on seems to have the answer. What is a Hybrid e-cig? I was lookign at getting the VP2 Hybrid from vaprlife and thven they could not give me a clear answer.

They told me this "The most basic difference between the (2) units is that our HYBRID is a combination of both our VYPR & VP2 models- with a battery life comparable to our VP2 unit"

As far as I can tell both units are the same which is why I asked. If anyone can give me a clear answer that would be awesome. Just what is a "Hybrid" e-cig??? Thanks everyone.

You basically answered your own question.
A hybrid is a combination of things. In this case the Vp1 and Vp2. It's their "hybrid" model apparently, meaning it's a cross between those two ecig models. You're not gonna get many answers because I'm fairly knowledgeable about ecigs and I for one have never heard of a "Hybrid" ecig.
Hope that answers your question.

It did not really answer my question. I have seen hybrid e-cigs talked about before and I though it just meant that you could use different batteries with the same model. I remember watchign a Youtube video and Scott from Totally Wicked was reviewing a hybrid model that they sell. I cannot remember the model name off hand. Oh well maybe it's just a vaprlife thing and i am tripping. Again I could have swore I read about different hybrid models. Anyhow thanks for replying I guess the search is still on.

Which pv were you looking at getting from vaprlife? The VP1, The VP2, The Spade, VP-PT, THE JOKER,The VP TURBO?

I have a vp2 and really like it. My only concern is that the button tends to get sketchy after a few months.

I was looking at getting another Joker AV. Seems like I am used to 5v vapign that 3.7v just does not cut it anymore. I don't remember which model I was lookign at. I think it was the VP2. Right now my Joker died out of no where is is getting repaired right now. So I am a little hesitant on getting another one if it just died like that out of the blue. Once I get my Joker back I'll start to look into their line up again after a few months to make sure my Joker that died was a fluke and not a design issue or something.

I wish there were more 5v devices out there. Most of the mods i see are either 3.7v or 6v. 6v is a bit too much and I find 5v to be just right.

Then get a Buzz. Set the voltage to whatever you want! It's a wonderful model. notcigs.com Good product, good service, good price. (I got a "blemished Buzz" cuz it was cheaper--I figured I'd just screw up the finish anyway, so who cares?) I love it.

Thanks for the recommendation BCB. The one major reason why I picked up a Joker was because I could adjust it. Before i got into 5v vaping I figured I could just set it to 3.7v and be happy, however I found love at 5v. The Buzz is a bit expensive, how is the build quality, it looks pretty solid, any issues with yours? Again thanks for the info. notcigs might have my money soon :0

sorry last question. Do you know if they work with the CR123a 3.0v batteries? I looked at the specs and it states CR123a 3.7v. Just hoping to use my cache of batteries and not buy any more. Thanks again. I appreciate it.

I'm not knowledgeable about batteries, so I buy what's recommended to be safe. I just got 4 batteries with my Buzz (2 for the charger, 2 for the Buzz) and that works just fine. I LOVE IT!!! It's built solid, feels good in your hand, works well. I saw no flaws whatsoever on my "blemished" Buzz, so their standards are higher than mine are. You can get one already set up for 510 stuff or KR808 stuff (I use KR808 cartos). Definitely worth the money in my opinion. I didn't get a volt meter and don't know what voltage I'm vaping at, but others say you can get voltage meters real cheap and say that having one helps with the Buzz, since there's no reference point on the Buzz when you turn the little screw back and forth. I think that's all the info I know.

Google Buzz e-cig and you can find Buzz-specific threads on this and other forums as well as youtube video reviews.

Thanks again BCB. Yeah I use 510 and KR808D cartos. As for the volt meter I bought a cheap $20 one to see the voltage on my Joker since it's the same as the Buzz and a screw sets the voltage. I'll definitely be looking into purchasing a Buzz in the future. I already miss my 5v PV and it would be nice to have a back up.Anyhow thanks again man.
