I'm really trying hard to justify getting a 26500 mod..the Bomb Shell Stinger has made my mouse finger twitch more than a few times. I use 18650s in my VAMO and Omega and some 18350(? think that’s the size and too lazy to go look). I got some 3100Mah batteries and the 26500 are only 3500 so not a major step up. I can say well I got a lot of 2200Mha batteries and it is more vape time than those. So to help me decide to let the mouse finger fly and order one or go look for something else shinny and cool, what is the advantages and disadvantages of 26500 vs. sticking with the 18650s? I know the 26500s are about 1” longer so don’t see being able to use my current batteries. BTW I am a chain vapor..I get 8 to 10 hours off a really good 18650. I'm not super intersted in adding the kick to it, so not big factor.

Thanks All.

I would imagine the only advantage would be the ability to vape longer between battery changes. The voltage would be fixed for the duration of the battery, dropping off towards the end of the charge, as with any fixed voltage mechanical mod.

It would probably come down to a couple of factors the way I see it. Either use the smaller 18650 mods and carry an extra battery, or go with the larger size mod (and longer lasting battery) and not need to carry the extra battery.

The bombshell stinger uses the 26650 with the kick, not the 26500.Same length, bigger dia.
some 26650's go as high as 4000 mah,but those are li-ion not IMR's-the makers of the kick recommend IMR's.
I get several hr's more runtime on my kicked bombshell than I do with a kicked 18650.
but so far the stinger is the only PV I have that don't go to work with me-too big
