Very interesting thread. I'm still pretty new to this. Got some sample juices from a place I likely won't order from again, but they were cheap. Now waiting on my 2nd juice order from a place that gave an amazing discount. Right now just trying to get some juice and figure out what I like. Ultimately would like to try some of these juices that folks seem to love so much, but not quite in the budget at the moment. But I like this thread, because I've not seen anyone really try to describe the flavors til now, and they're really different than what I was imagining. All I'd heard about any of them was that GJ had a slight banana flavor. So thanks!

Heh, heh. Alien is currently OOS on Gorilla Juice. Which makes me want to try some even more.

See my response below...

My husband uses both Boba's & GJ, but prefers the GJ most of the time. I'm not really into tobacco flavors (love LOVE AVE Root Beer... you can actually feel the carbonation bubbles popping on your tongue, not sure how Ben does THAT), but I inadvertently filled my Reo with Boba's one day & vaped it for several hours. I definitely knew it wasn't what I thought it was, but it wasn't unpleasant at all. :)

So as soon as AVE has Gorilla Juice available, grab a sample bottle & get a sample of root beer too just for the experience. :)

Maybe because Gorilla Juice E-Liquid - by Alien Visions bought it all. They have it for a little but more money, but they seem to stay stocked, probably because most people don't know that they are an authorized dealer.

I have tried them all... I like both gamel and cd a lot - very light on flavor in my opinion... but solid juices... they perform well... they are also thick...

Well, I respect your opinion a great deal, so I will try.

C&D for me didn't have much taste at all...more of a non burning analog taste if anything. Gamel was more bland tasting with no sweetness at all. Flue Cured and 555 are pretty damn good with a slight sweetness and really mild pipe tobacco kinda taste. Gorilla Juice is next best if not better than Boba's.

I've always liked Boba's Bounty, and I was only aware of a very few "authorized AVE resellers". Not gonna mention names (not the one you linked to), but over the holiday weekend sales I found some gorilla juice in some little known (at least to me) shop at what seemed to be clearance type prices. I thought, now's my chance to try GJ.

I'm now giving it a chance to steep, but straight out of the mailbox (which I often do with Boba's) the GJ seemed pretty weak in overall flavor compared to my usual Boba's. Seeing how their supposed to be the same except for the banana flavor, my suspicions started to rise. Other than the store name, the label was hand written.

I need to check the AVE sight to see if there's some sort of "official list" of resellers. I'd hate to think people would be watering AVE's stuff down to make a buck. It could ruin AVE's outstanding record if people's first impression was from something not truly genuine.

I have heard about some "authorized sellers" doing unscrupulous things. It must be hard to keep track of who is who, considering anyone can order large quantities of their juice. I have had good experiences with smoketek, but was leery of them at first. You probably should inquire with AVE.

Only like the best RY4 ever. I still have about 8mils left and vape it very sparingly. There are some outstanding "classic flavor" examples out there but AVE nailed it. When vendors get greedy and up the prices on thier more popular flavorings they sell to mom n' pop e-juice makers some of em say nuffs enough. They'll come up with something else (soon I hope).
Sorry you missed it but take comfort in knowing something equally stellar will come along and you'll read about it right here on ECF.

Over the edge...
To my taste, Boba's is definitely the king of the AVE line. I've seen so many posts trying to describe it and always thought "Nope, that's not it". My second favorite is Flue Cured - a very close second. Doesn't have the sweetness of Boba's but I'm sure it has the same base and some of Boba's ingredients. If I could only have one, I'd have to flip a coin. Gorilla Juice is a version of boba's with banana and something else. I tried mixing Boba's and Banana Slurry (which is a great juice ) but it wasn't exactly Gorilla Juice. Banana Slurry tastes just like a banana popsicle to me. Their 555 is nice, nutty tobacco. I've gone through 30ml of it. And Christy's Cappuccino is spot on. Tried the Maple and it looked and tasted like 30W Pennzoil.
C&D tasted like nothing..

Well so far AVE is the bomb...

Bobas is a bit too non-tobaccoe for me...i can only do it for a while...maybe thats because i only smoked cigars and never really smoked plain cigs...

I vape all day every day...now and .. AVE 555 is just #$%@#$% amazing...i have been trying to diy something close...and thats just it...i can only get close...so i am going to keep ordering 100ml bottles from my houston bro...

As for Flu cured...did not think much of it when I got a sample..but now 3 weeks later the sample tastes totally different...much much sweeter...

So my vote is there is something special about AVE juices...GG, 555 and BB...and flu cured...

maybe it's the sweetness, or the banana...not sure but happy to keep on smoking it to death to find out...

ha ha
