What is difference between ego and em-riva

want to buy one or the other, saw riva on sale for $55. Need some help. Was told passthrough would not fit on riva, is this true.

you can an ego @ litecigusa for $54 and libertyflights(make sure to use 20% off banner) is even cheaper.not sure what the difference between the two are.

Only thing I noticed between the two is the gold band vs the silver band... And I don't know why you wouldn't be able to use a passthru because you got a riva kit.

Pretty much the same thing. Assuming you mean the 510 Riva and eGo. The Riva is 750 battery the eGo is 650 battery. The finish on an eGo is slightly rubbery whereas the Riva is not... Mostly aesthetics. I say go for the best deal between the two.

You can pick up a Riva kit for $30 at Liberty-Flights. You can get a kit with a case for 35 at the same place.

I think this is the best price you will find outside of the factory in China.

I received my kit in 2 days once shipped.

eGo and Riva have the same performance. Some people prefer one to the other. I went with a Riva for $30 and it has been awesome. As far as I know, all the parts for an eGo are interchangeable with a riva, except maybe the charger? I don't see why a PT for an eGo wouldn't work on a riva though.

A pass through is a separate unit to the best of my knowledge. It is a battery with it's own charging plug and cord to use connected directly to the power source.

A pass through may or may not contain a battery.
