What is going on with Chinese post?

As of late it seems China is stopping vaper mods going out of the country.If anyone else has had this problem and has some kinda information on it and what might be the problem I'd be thankful.I'm sure a lot of people would be thankful.I'm kinda curious to see if it's other products too not just vaping products.I'd say the tariffs is just about tax right?

There was some discussion in the Shiny thread about difficulty with orders from China..

@charlie1465 @lupinehorror but others, if memory serves, aren't having any issue at all..

I just recently got an order from China that went through the sorting center in the Netherlands and its moving along quite quickly without issue, so the problem some are having might be something to do with a specific sorting center.

Although, it seems U.K. residents are having more problems than U.S. residents - but I don't think it's to do with tariffs, although I don't know what is causing the issue some people are having..

But to my knowledge the only issue tarrifs are causing is the recent price hike.

Not saying this is the root, but hypothetically speaking, the recent US ban on Huawei might just be felt through out other industries. That is not to say Huawei has ties within the Chinese vape industry, but you do not kick a company the size of Huawei in the nuts without having some sort of impact. They are a massive company which I am sure has influencing power within China. There is also the possibility of heightened imports checks due to this ban which could mean delays.

For those who don’t know, Huawei is a tech giant who is not only the worlds second largest smartphone manufacture, but also one of the world largest communications companies. Chances are your internet and or smartphone is using or going through technology either developed or manufactured by Huawei.

I'm with @Vapedog - I've ordered all sorts of stuff in the last couple of months and had zero problems. In fact today I just received a mod from Fasttech that took only 10 days to get here.

I suffer from severe postal anxiety and instantgratificationitis so willing to forgo the slow boat from China and pay a little more to shop locally. But so far my deliveries from the Red Dragon Chinese food has been on time and spot on! Mmmmm Sweet And Sour Pork Spareribs!!

And just to note, the Huawei ban is just recent (2 weeks I think) and also involves 70+ affiliates

Got a FT package in a record for me 7 days.
Any tariff issues will be handled at US customs, not in CN.

In my experience FT stuff takes anywhere from 2-8 weeks to ship from China. You’re well within that window.

this isn't a FT order, this is from VaporL..

Ali Express runs everything from China through the Netherlands sorting center, according to Google, so I'm thinking VaporL must be somehow associated with Ali Express, or got their start there to learn habits perhaps..

But VaporL is a Chinese based company like FastTech...They just have different mail sorting centers that they use more frequently..

I wonder why they didn't ship the stuff east. It seems it would be longer sending it west to the U.S.

My FT order from last week has been going thru all the post offices in china for 6 days, being routed to Chicago hub.
