My minikin got turned up to 180 in my pocket before and I hit it not realizing. It was awful. That was a FireLuke mesh which is not made for that. This setup (which I am not suggesting you try) did 130w comfortably. I was able to do a 1.5 sec. pull

This was cool for novelty but unuseable on a regular basis. I am not mad at my lungs.

Hot

I usually vape at around 65 watts with dual round wire coils. I did once build for and run an atomizer at 200 watts. What struck me was not so much how unpleasantly hot it was, but relatively how little more vapor it produced. That and the sheer impracticality of it.

The quads never got hot. I never vaped it over 130w. It produced a ridiculous amount of vapor though. It was actually overwhelming.

Ok, curiosity got the best of me. I'm running a .15 ohm dual coil RBA in a Beast King tank. I have one of my DIY ADV juice (Apple Pie 2). I started pushing my wattage up 5w at a time. With this juice I was pleasantly surprised to find out the warmer it got, the better it tasted. At least until I hit 150w. It's like tasting a freshly baked apple pie, and the heat from the pull adds the propper feel to the taste. I'm glad I tried it. I found the "sweet spot" for this juice! Marked it on the recipe for future reference.

There is definitely a point at which you will not really get more vapor, but it will get hotter and hotter. It's like the heat constricts the airflow.

Vaping at 230 watts is pretty unrealistic for most people. Maybe with a large atomizer, allot of air intake and a very thick coil it could work, but why bother?. I've never had a situation that called for more than maybe 60-70w, and that's on the way high end for me. I image that even with the proper build and a three battery mod the battery life would be abysmal at 230w.

I have a Vaporesso Target Pro 75w. I have never been able to make a pleasant puff above 45 watts. I see there are mods as powerful as 230w. How is it possible to vape at 230w? And how does it feel like?
My Vaporesso switcher is rated max at 220w. I'm vaping right now at 85w, and it works good. Test out some setting on your device, or step up to a higher power device. I also wonder, do you have trouble adjusting to vaping above 45w, or do you want/need more power?

i had 0 issue using 90 watts since i mostly use .2 to .25 0hm coils and lower than that the ramp up time is way too long, also I don't get hot vapes mine are just cool enough to get the full flavor from my liquids. everything in the vaping world depends on multiple factors including the user tastes. and battery life wise i can easily get a full work day out of 2 18650s i just bring a 2nd set so since i never charge them at night.
