What did this ohm out to? Holy hell!

I forgot to post the sc4een with the other picture. It came out at .11 I bought 2 new 25Rs for it. The coils barely fit in the challenge cap. The original DR top cap wouldn't fit

I could never understand why this is even a "thing". I mean, do you want to vaporize some eLiquid to inhale, or do you want to mow your lawn?

In my mind, vaping is supposed to give my lungs a (permanent) vacation from smoking, not to torture them.

Ppl are different, and so are coils and how you use them. Ideally a higher mass coil should have more surface area and you get more vapor (and flavor if done right), but they take higher wattage to fire balanced with high airflow which keeps it cool... I like to fill my lungs with rich dense vapor without taking a ten second pull.

Thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster for that! (is 'people' really that difficult to type? Damn, people are slugs today) However, I vape pretty much as I used to smoke cigarettes. Back then, I didn't leave huge clouds of smoke billowing out of my car window which nearby observers couldn't miss, like Cheech & Chong. And I generally took draws of 2-3 seconds, sometimes more if I felt tense for some reason...as I said, pretty much the way I vape now. And I generally vape at around 8W with a 1.6 to 1.8 coil.

I don't want to be critical of anyone who has escaped the smoking habit. But, I think some vapers go WAY beyond simulating the smoking experience into something totally new. And I don't want any part of it. Someone, someday, will likely prove vaping is hazardous to our health, and most likely they will cite extreme users such as this.

Why are you being that pessimistic?
The OP asked a question almost every curious vaper have asked themselves, why do you even bother to kill the mood?

Also, there's absolutely nothing wrong in people taking vape to the next level and actually enjoying it. None of us knows the bad health impacts, maybe there are some, maybe there aren't, but we do know how good it is compared to our old habit.

Just because you don't enjoy the fun part of vaping doesn't mean that others shouldn't. I started out vaping much like the way you are vaping now, and found myself unsatisfied, wanting a cigarette. I bought a sub ohm tank and started getting into "cloud chasing" with DIY ejuice, which was a much needed distraction. Then I got into building my own coils and found I could really increase cloud production. This has all become a new hobby for me, and early on kept my mind off of wanting a cigarette. So now here I am 6 month later vaping at 150w with a dual .15ohm diy coil tasting warm Apple Pie, and blowing some really awesome clouds! I am a very happy NON SMOKER thanks to the clouds and other distractions vaping offered me, and now I have a new hobby I really enjoy!

I ENCOURAGE EVERY NEWCOMER TO EXPERIMENT, HAVE FUN, AND DON'T LET ANYONE KEEP YOU FROM TRYING SOMETHING NEW.

between here and there
I would say that most ecf peeps have turned vaping into a hobby. But some of us also refer to it as a journey. Cause it kinda is. You start by knowing next to nothing about vaping and then find yourself emersed into this new wonderful life saving vape experience.

It has been and is definitely still is a journey for me, one that I look forward to. That journey does not include laying down the vape as far as I can see, not that there is anything wrong with giving it up. Nor does it include a desire to simulate smoking a cigarette either. I started with 510 cartos on a basic stick mod, went through the vivi novas and kanger bvc style tanks... Did that for almost a year .with only 14 cigs and had a Kanger aerotank that leaked like a :censored: and always left me wanting more. Then I got a Kanger subtank and an Istick 30w with .5 coils and I was in love. Kept going from there, learned to build on a dripper and never looked back. Now I have a Cylon and an Aromamizer Plus, and I'm still not looking back :vapor:

I made a mistake last night and I would like to offer my apology for that. The opinions I expressed are mine, but I realize there are some things which should not be expressed in a public forum. Especially since those opinions were totally off-topic and rude.
My first mistake was speaking in public after consuming one too many beers. I in no way feel that being under the influence is an excuse for bad behavior, but I offer it as an explanation. A bad choice on my part.

To anyone who I offended, I'm sorry. Please accept my apology.

Cheech and Chong "Up in Smoke" was popular. many people actually liked that movie - I couldn't stand it, there was not one thing funny to me about the comedy duo, or any movie they made or any routine they did.

And I was young when they were popular - young enough I should have found them funny if for no other reason than to spite my parents, yet I couldn't manage so much as a smile in response to any of their comedy.

What I never did was to criticise others for their differing tastes. Everyone is unique and it's a beautiful thing - how boring this world would be if we were all carbon copies of each other. We can appreciate others despite differences.

When I vaped I did so around 12 - 15 or so watts on average. Typical tootle puffer I am.. low wattage flavor chasing vaper.

My son loves vaping at 90-100 watts all day. every day. He does the fancy coils that can handle the power, gets tons of flavor and just loves vaping like that.

I have zero understanding of it. I really don't. I certainly couldn't do it if you paid me. But here's the thing; I don't have to understand it. All I have to know is that he isn't smoking cigarettes anymore and is saving money - shockingly enough.

There is no reason to deride anyone for their own choices. The choices are theirs to make, not ours. We can celebrate that they made a better choice than smoking...

and some day perhaps, they will grow out of big clouds and make different choices.

But deriding others for their different choices is just plain unkind, and definitely unnecessary.

Apology accepted. That is something that used to get into a lot of trouble back when I used to drink. I quit drinking before I quit smoking, been 4 1/2 years now. I am a whole lot nicer now and tend not to offend near as many people. Let's see gave up drinking, sugar, smoking, damn it... I guess caffeine is next. NOW THAT'S GONNA BE A REAL CHALLENGE !

How about taking the extra time to punctuate your apology correctly. There seems to be some commas missing.:lol::lol:

Just kidding, brother .
