best is VERY subjective, and the best (in my opinion) changes about 83642 times a week.

You know if you can find out what the worst e liquid flavours are then really the rest are the best. But then again it can depend how it's used. In my experience some flavours i have used and still use can taste just fine if i'm tooting, but if i use them in an RTA with dual coils and plenty of watts it seems the more vapour produced enhances the flavour, which is obvious really. Such as Capella Irish Cream, it tastes fine in my Kayfun but tastes a little like vomit in my Zephyrus. Same goes for New York Cheese Cake. I'm actually vaping with these right now just to get rid of them and won't be buying them again.

Any fruit flavour works really well in any kind of vapouriser. My absolute favoute these days is Green Apple. Double watermelon is a good one. Capella Vanilla Custard V2 works really well with several other flavours as well as on it's own.

The best advice if you want to get into DIY is to start simple.

Get 2 or 3 flavors you like and start with one at a time, getting the feel for how each one tastes, the steeping it requires and how much you need of it.
