Contest Winner!
I won an iStick TC60W in a contest here a few years ago. That mod came with an Ehpro eTank S2 clearo. According to this results page - Vapecrawler - it's a sub-ohm tank, but I have used 1.5 ohm coil heads in it (that's what it came with in fact) at 8 or so watts.

There are two basic types of tanks: Mouth To Lung, which has restricted draw and behaves more like a cigarette, and Direct Lung, is high is characterized by large vapor clouds which is inhaled directly into the lungs.
The former tends to use higher nic juice and is easier on batteries.

What was your previous setup? At 40 watts (although I know they're internal battery, at least I think they are and maybe function a bit differently) I would tend to think that a MTL tank (less wattage, less vapor, less battery needed) would probably work best.. Without knowing your vaping style though, it's hard to give a recommendation, I mean if you prefer things less restricted, you may be able to get away with a slightly lower resistance coil in about the 0.5 range vaping it maybe at 25 watts.

What did you used to use on there, and what tanks do you currently have available. Is this temporary until you can replace your new setup or are you planning to purchase a tank and have it as your backup?

I'm currently using a silver Innokin T20s tank on my iStick40W TC Mod. They look perfect together and the flavour from the T20s tank is excellent. I used to use an Original Nautilus 5ml tank on the same MOD. It worked well and looked great, but the tank only lasted about 2 months before it started causing issues.
The T20S tank is a good tasting, no frills tank. You can't adjust the airflow... but I like the pull. Coils will last me 2-3 weeks before they need to be changed... but I usually pre-preemptively change them every 2-weeks.
