the 3 of us had coffee tonight. lori left early. kathy and I were sitting outside timmy's until almost 3 am haha. I got pulled over blasting through a yellow light around 100k in a 50 zone and let go. sure was handy doing mobile supervisor for so many years in this city hehe

so lmk if you'd like to hook up. well that's if you are local. if out of town might have to wait for a weekend bike tour as I travel all over bc on weekends. taking a ride to hell's gate and back tomorrow. need some home made fudge. kills a few hours

virginia is made by dekang. most of my fav vapes are dekang tbh.

Me too! and mine just came in after a 10+ day wait in customs.

The foam in my carts doesn't appear to be of the best quality and its falling apart in hair like strands... could this be getting "vaporized" and me be breathing it in???
I'd hate to be vaping plastic or w/e it is...

Is it an actual foam or the the cotton ball like stuff?(some one let us no what it is?) What cart are you using? If it's just one of the empty tips with packing in it they will give off a strand here in there. They don't melt though I just stuff them back in with tweezers.

Question for the Dekang tobacco vape lovers. I find they all have an Alcohol taste to them. Will this go away if I leave the drip cap off? I'm generally a non-drinker so the alcohol taste is a major turn off.

The only Dekang tobacco's I've tried to date is RY4, 555, Virginia and Tab.

- RY4 I love! but find it's best at higher Volts. Cartos make this liquid repulsive to me. Really Gross!
- 555 was boring with a dose of Yuk, dirty socks? lolz

I just picked these two up yesterday and haven't finished a carto yet...
- Virginia(PG)24mg I found way to Alcohol-ish, I tried toning it down with some VG, a little better but not liking it yet.
- DK-Tab(PG)24mg was Alcohol tasting but seems like it could be a great vape. A little nutty..

RY4 seemed to have the least Alcohol tone and as I said, I love it!

So whats with the Alcohol effect? even my lungs feel like I've been drinking :(

Let me be more precise, it's not the taste of alcohol per-say, but an effect on my mouth, lungs and nasal of real alcohol. I can enjoy some Alcohol flavors, but this is not just flavour.

Most of the time Dekang is PG based, some people have a problem with PG. They have increased their VG line to match recently. I am a really sensitive vaper like pipeous I get chesty from some, even immediate rashes from others. I have a bottle of "DK-tab" I bought in NA and it doesn't like me too much I have to vape it sparingly. Now straight PG Dekang I have not found anything that I am allergic/sensitive to. I'm not sure if it's the VG or sweeteners in most the stuff over here that bugs me, but I've pretty much given up and stick to Dekang right off a Chinese shelf or maple leaf vapes cause I find their waffle flavours yummy and they don't bug me at all. DK-tab has no alcoholish vape for me at all. Actually I just got over 510ml in today of Dekang straight from trusted Chinese source and none of it has what you are talking about. Don't get me wrong I have juice here that tastes like perfume and alcohol but none of it is Dekang or from Dekang directly.

ya dk tab kills me too. I get tingling on my tongue and cheeks even if I don't inhale. I am running out of jokesmoke. been vaping that stuff like crazy in the grand. only about 1/3 left of that 50ml bottle now.

maybe try cutting the stuff with some plain pg or vg? maybe the flavourings are too strong for you? some flavourings really affect my health. I also can't vape gh1 base or it bothers me, even without flavouring (I vaped unflavoured to test this) and sold all my base.

When I pull it out - it's a solid piece almost sponge like.

I just got some blueberry tobacco (labeled as blueberry cigarello) - and it rocks! Tastes like a tim hortons blueberry beagle!

Don't like the sounds of the sponge disintegrating, I'd ask the place you got it from, I've never used anything similar. Aren't there laws about tasting other peoples dog's? :D

Could it possibly be the polly filling that is now saturated? The "sponge" thing doesn't sound good to me either.

No idea what TigCig uses, but the filler should not be flammable. All filler is fibrous and tends to have random "hairs" protruding. I would advise against pulling the stuffing out as in my experience, it affects performance after stuffing it back in. The pics above look very common for the filler type carts. All my Ego carts have the same filler material.

If you're having issues with your mouth feeling funny, that's usually just something all new vapers go through. Nine times out of ten, it will go away in time. It happened to me - dry, cotton mouth and throat.

On the other hand, if you are indeed getting dry hits, then you either don't have enough juice in the cart (duh!) or your unit is having wicking issues. A dry hit is immediately recognizable and is quite harsh, with little of the actual taste of the juice. if you are getting great vapor production and taste, then it doesn't sound like a dry hit. More likely that you've just vaped too much and your noobie mouth isn't used to it.

If you are actually getting dry hits and you know you have lots of juice in there, pull the filler ever so slightly out of the cart. I'm talking like 1 mm. The goal here is to try and get the filler to make contact with the bridge in the atty.

Yeah it's probably the n00b bit :D

Thank you for the feedback! Makes me feel better about using this thing :D

That "bridge" in the atomizer then is not what's heating up? I was pushing the foam back a bit thinking it was bad for it to touch that.

EDIT: And that dry feeling has gone away since yesterday. Drinking loads of fluids

The actual heating element is underneath the bridge. The bridge wicks the juice from the carto filler down to the element. You'll sometimes hear of people "debridging" their atomizers. They remove the bridge to expose the heating element. Only drippers do this, mind you, and it's not necessary (though some swear by it).

IMO, "burning the filler" is a problem that is all but exclusive to cartomizers. The three piece design, like you TigCig, has that bridge which keeps a healthy distance between the element and the filler. I guess I should also mention that I don't know for sure if the material is flammable or not :/
