what is the deal?

OK. I am really starting to get a complex here, and thats not normal for me. On 3 different occasions now, I have read raving reviews here on different companies for supplies. Yet in each situation, when I ordered something from them, there has ALWAYS seemed to be a problem. I dont want to mention names because I dont want to be publicly criticizing these folks. I would rather handle it between them and myself. But on my first order, half the order was left out. The company did send the stuff later, but it too forever to get the order. With my second order, I did receive everything, but again it took forever. With my 3rd order, half of the carts did not work from the time I got them. Instead of them sending me replacements, or instead of them even saying "send us the defective stuff back, and at the same time, we will send you replacements", they wanted me to send the defective stuff back, and then wait for them to check things before they sent me replacements. Now, with my 4th order, I even paid the extra for shipping in order to receive the package within 3 days. It is now the 4th day, I still have not received the package, and I sent the company an email around lunchtime today, asking about their policies in this situation, and have not heard a word back from them. This is ridiculous, and I have had it. I am a small business owner myself, and this kind of crap would put me out of business.
Are their any ecig suppliers out there who can get an order to someone in a timely manner, and the order be all there, and be without any defective parts? Is that too friggin' much to expect?
This sucks, and I am about ready to say "forget it" with this ecig experiment. :evil:

i feel your pain. i'm also a business owner and would die quickly if that were my norm. and as you, if that happened to me as a consumer, i would be up in arms.
my own experience, having dealt with a number of registered suppliers on this forum (and a few who are not), has been outstanding. i have only had one order with issues, which was quickly rectified.

Yes, that would definately turn me off....Fortunately, I have ordered so far from 4 different places and all have been great...Even, received status reports concerning
my shipments...Not to mention a company I ordered some juice from sent me back
3 - $1.00 bills due to overcharging me shipping costs....Never have I ever received
actual money back from a company... I know it was only three dollars, but that said
something to me about their honesty and customer service....Company,,,,no name was
out of Hawaii... Received order here in Ohio in 6 days...
Hope your luck changes....For me vaping is great...A smoker for over 30 years, and
not a "cig" since I started 15 days ago...

Sorry to hear about your problems. I have been like a kid in a candy store in my first three weeks and IMO I have been pretty lucky so far.

I did receive two orders at the same time from two different vendors yesterday that had issues. One was resolved within hours literally. The other I am still waiting on a response. I am more than a little peeved it hasnt been even acknowledged yet!!

Why keep it a secret if you're having problems with certain vendors? Someone please enlighten me on this. Let them do the same thing to others on here and lets all keep it secret so they can keep doing it? I don't get that.

I won't be mentioning anything if problems are resolved in a professional manner, but if I get the okey-doke I will put the word out so others can benefit from it.

Just my 2 cents

Right now China is in the ending stages of the NEW YEAR celebrations-During which they do not ship. Everyone is low on supplies and out of sorts. It will get better in a week or two. Once you have your initial ordering done you have to get your back up. We learn the ordering system as we learn about the e-cig. Don't give up, sometimes this is so frustrating but, you can prevail! Hang in there and learn the chinese calendar and the stock levels of the suppliers that offer what you want to buy at the prices you are willing to buy. This means excel spreadsheets. Keep notes on juices, atty prices, bat prices, stock availability and what not.
It's like women-if you don't pay attention----you'll never get it right. If you do-----Home run every time. Good Luck and hang in there.

My experience is very similar to yours I'm havin dejavue just reading your story. 5 vendors later Rocky Mountain Vapor is the only vendor I have used with absolutely no issues, his liquid is reasonably priced as is his hardware. If its not in stock you cant order it, so you're not going to get a "partial order". And frankly, yes I think in this new e-cig business that "is too friggin much to ask for". I figure once this industry gets regulated most of these online businesses will be out of business and they are now just in it for the money...that's the only thing I can figure. Worst customer service experiences i have ever received.

Since I began vaping in July of 2009 I have never found better businesses to deal with than every one of the half dozen or so vendors I've bought from on this forum. A very minor glitch here or there but nothing like it will be "when the industry gets regulated" by big tobacco.
I seriously hope these businesses do not go out of business.
Sorry you've had such poor experiences.

I have only had delivery problems with China suppliers. My problems where prior the their New Year Holiday. Sometimes customs holds things up. Using US suppliers is no guarantee that shipping every time will be prompt but it sure helps. I have had great service/delivery from Totally Wicked US, Liberty-Flights and NHaler. I have put in an order with Health Cabin (China), and Viking Vapor. Ordered HC on 2/19 and VV on 2/23. I am betting I see the US order with VV alot sooner. I hope you find some reliable US suppliers to keep the ball rolling for ya. Good Luck!!!
