If you have a chance to try a properly built and wicked bottom flow RDA, you will see the difference.
Flavor is enhanced, and vapor production is very strong.

I felt the same way at first, they all looked liked leaky affairs, and if not used properly they are.

At .23 ohms the freakshow mini holds enough juice for three or four huge lung hits without leaking.

Literally everyone that I have used that has bottom airflow just leaks like crazy and it's super inconvenient, making it almost imposible to store any juice than what's on the cotton itself/

It will be your wicks that are the problem, if they touch the metal near the airhole then you will get leakage.

I use Kayfuns sometimes, which don't usually leak unless there's a problem with them... but mostly I use Achilles RDAs, which NEVER EVER leak, because of their genius design. I can lay either of those on their sides, and from the Achilles, no leaks ever, and from Kayfuns, no leaks usually, unless some part of it has a problem. The only one I have that has a serious leak problem is the Magma, and I've read up on a mod for that, which might alleviate the problem -- using 12ga needles in the airholes, to raise the airhole openings above the level of the deck, because those are prone to the problem that DoubleEwe mentioned, about the wick being near the airhole and causing leaks -- actually I think it's the flush deck and airholes that cause it; if the wick is touching the deck at all, which seems inevitable with a Magma, it's going to leak, and also from condensate running down onto that flush deck.

Something must not be right...I almost exclusively use bottom flow RDAs, and no leaking. Maybe you're "over dripping?"

as others have said learn how to use your stuff right then less of a problem

most leakage is not from juice unless ya just dumb and constantly over fill etc

its from condensation build up inside the top cap so instead of just constantly re-dripping through the drip tip remove the cap now and then and give it a good shake or flick to remove excess condensation, then re-drip replace and vape on

Yeah, the only time I've ever had any leak at all from my Achilles is when I overfill it -- the liquid can't go over the top of the airflow stack, or it will run down into it. It's designed so beautifully that as long as the liquid is lower than the top of that stack, even when lying on its side, it won't leak.

With the Magma though... just poor design. There should be a built-up edge around those airholes.

I over drip, more like gobbing it in with no worries and never have leaking issues, even carry it in my pocket, if your looking for flavor enhancement these trump bottom flow ......................
Authentic Sapor RDA by Wotofo - 101 Vape
Aeolus RDA Atomizer Clone - 88eVape

I don't find top-airflow atomizers like those to be even close.

Direct air to coil systems work better and much more efficiently.

That's why bottom airflow RDAs work so well. The air flows straight across the coils.

I usually take a Kennedy Comp RDA to work with me, just because it works well and is small and fits in my shirt pocket while mounted on an Abaddon clone. I can just squirt my dropper of juice down the drip tip and vape away until it is time to go back to work. I don't have issue with it leaking. I have lots of RDAs, but of the bottom airflow varieties the Kennedy is my favorite.

Best flavor I've gotten out of any atty so far, and I own about 40ish. Lol. I can fit about 2ml in there too.

Bottom airflow is the way to go.

What atty is that? The built-up airflow stack and deep well remind me of the Achilles. Does it take a regular driptip or is it stuck with that wide one? Can the airflow be tightened up really tight?

@andria It's a Microdrip. No adjustable airflow, but can take any "standard" driptip. Mini-ecig.com. I think they make one with adjustable airflow, but I can't remember. And I'm in my phone till the computer get fixed. Lol

Oh yeah, I've heard very good things about those -- I think their MiniDrip might be the right one for me; another one that's also not outrageously expensive! :thumb:
