Copied from the site:
Please Note:. Unprotected Versions of the 14500 Battery will fit this device.. Protected versions will not.. We recommend Tenergy 14500 batteries or AW IMR14500 batteries only..

I'm sure it's safe since it's singular and not stacked batteries but I just don't trust unprotected bats. I know a lot out there will disagree but when I'm putting something inches from my face multiple times a day I think it's worth a little extra precaution. Just my 2 copper.

Prolly just going to go with the spark plug. I've looked at them all and it seems to be the right fit for my needs. I absolutely love the glv supermini but I am a pipeliner and am afraid of such an expensive mod getting smashed up. I sometimes have to crawl through mud and get wet. Do you think the sp will hold up? Maybe with the right strurdy waterproof case my ego will work just as well for my needs. I dunno, the sp is an expensive metal tube and spring.

This thread got me thinking. There are about 10 different machine shops in my town, and my dad is a cnc machinest. I might just make my own mod. I know, it sounds good now, but seriously my dad is awesome with cad/cam systems. Just a quick question (I'm going ot in my own thread lol) what kind of circut would it be like in these bare bone mechanical mods. (E.g where would the battery + touch, -,) do I need any kind of chip to go into this? Or can it be a simple circut using the body of the mod? Any of you vets able to find (or draw me) a generic tube mod where battery should touch etc.? Thanks a lot for all the input.

It won't be mechanical if you put wires and chips in there. The negative is always the body of the mechanical mod. As for the GGTS, there is a center pin which gets in contact with the positive side of the battery and touches center of the atomizer.

I see. Wouldn't the pin be in contact with the body too though? Or is there some kind of rubber seal?
