Snails is probably the weirdest thing, but I really love them. (you can't buy land snails in the USA anymore, those are the best) I tried to make calamari once but I couldn't handle how slimy they feel in my hands. Ya I know but snails I have no problem with.

As a kid I would love to go to my aunts house when my uncle was out hunting. He hunted rabbit and I liked to watch him clean them. My aunt liked to eat the head, but I've never cooked rabbit myself. We are a strange family.

Snails! If I find any Safira..they are all yours! Calamari is too rubbery tasting for me.

Iowa, I prefer fried catfish or shrimp during Lent! Although my son makes great salmon patties and grilled salmon.
I did eat some rattlesnake once..at a Boy Scouts Jamboree. It was tough like gator and had little taste.

Anymore weird food?

Well my hubby is a hunter so through the years I've tried many things. I've been born and raised in Iowa so always have a freezer full of fabulous beef and pork, but Moose is pretty good. The majority of things I've tried had too much of a bitter taste, but let me yell ya the Moose is outta control. The only thing you have to watch it is quite rich compared to beef. Moose meatballs - can't beat em:)

Columbia Restaurant - Ybor City, Tampa, Florida Location

For those of you outside the Tampa area..click on this site to see the best and oldest Spanish Restaurant in Ybor (pronounced Ebor) City. It is part of Tampa and the original Spanish settlement. It is also home to the cigarmakers from Cuba.

OK what was the weirdest clothing you ever bought?

For me it was a Bolero Jacket and Gaucho slacks..I thought it was great..in retrospect..not so much!

Mine was a light blue set worn with a black silk shirt and black boots. Embarassing!
my pants had buttons not a drawstring..about 5 buttons in a high top waist (back when I had a waist!)

Years ago, I bought some rayon-type material pajamas, but I already had silky sheets on my bed. Everytime I would turn over too quickly in bed I would get shocked.

The only other thing I can think of was some scarfs (when they were popular) that were fine if you didn't move around much, but I'm a mover. They would always end up half undone and looking really silly.
