What Is The Worst Juice You've Used In Your KFL?

What is the most disappointing ejuice you have put in your KFL so far?

I put in my favorite all day vape, Havana Gold by alien Vision, and it tasted like motor oil. Love it in every other tank, never tried dripping it.

Thinking of running Radiator Pluid through it but asared my head may explode...lol.

I'm very particular about what I put in my KF...nothing but good clean diy juice...no sugar/syrup or cheap French cologne

I did! Was shocked at how bad it tasted so I emptied it, rewashed and boiled all the parts, and refilled. Was a tiny bit better but still unvapable. Shame, half a bottle down the drain of good juice.

i've only put bryce's vanilla creme custard in mine. the fancy tank is for fancy juice.

Just curious, but why didn't you just put it back into one of your other tanks?

I normally dump the juice back into the bottle from the tank so im not wasting so much...

Got my Fasttech Kayfun 3.1 delivered yesterday. When I got it, it was DRIPPING with machine oil. Not residue, but I could actually poor it out. I would just make sure you REALLY clean those things before use.

Every new machined tank should be washed, scrubbed and rinsed well. I didn't find oil or grease in mine, but there were a ton of microscopic metal shavings all over the insides. I couldn't tell until I took a q-tip to the inside threadings. Q-tip was covered in metal.

RIght now ANY juice is awful in my kayfun. No idea why but it suddenly has decided that every hit must be a dry hit. It is not setup any different than any other time I set it up.

Le sigh. Going to have to rip it apart yet again.

You know, I find that when something like this happens, it usually a small thing that is overlooked that causes the problem. Really, the Kayfun is the least likely tank to give a dry hit that I have.

If it were me I would

1. Disassemble the entire thing (I know I know, but really it's not THAT big of a deal)
2. Soak overnight in dishwashing soap and water to make sure every little bit of machine oil is out of that thing.
3. After a good night sleep, start recoiling. I don't know what kind of coils you are running (like super fancy coils with thick gauge wire to be super low ohm), and try just a simple build. Like not try to sub ohm it but just do a really simple wrap that's not too crazy just to see if it works without dry hitting. If it still dry hitting check again for other problems. If not dry hitting, try winding a fancy coil and see if it starts dry hitting then.

Didn't save the juice that was in the tank because I was pretty sure it was contaminated with machine oil. Had to dump that tank, then I took the KFL apart, scrubbed it again, soaked it in soap and water, rinsed and boiled, then washed again!

Next tank with same juice was much better but still tasted like motor oil but I bet a lot of that was mental ;-).
