CE3 are great!! :vapor:

Here's a little tip...use a sharp hypodermic needle or a sterile sewing needle to make the first punch through the top seal, this should help prevent a torn seal which would lead to a leaker. Also, they come with primer in them, you can vape through it (nasty) or flush it out first with distilled water (look at the video for cleaning them).

Debra, lots of lots of people here just swear by the CE-3s. I use mine if it's all I have left. They are just too airy for me, and when new, they have (to me) a terrible plastic taste. I prefer the clearos.

But if you want to try the CE-3s, don't let the syringe-fill hold you back. I'm shaky at times, too, because of my lupus, and I didn't have any trouble with filling them. And mine never leaked at all. Just be careful not to increase the size of the hole made by the initial puncture with the needle. And yep, the needle is blunt-tipped, so you can't really hurt yourself with it.

Back to the clearos - I've been trying to be loyal to SI, and I will always get my batteries & accessories from them. SI has great batteries and superb customer service, but at $6.45 apiece, these clearos are way too pricey for short-term use. So far I've lost 3 of the seals from the 6 clearos I just bought. Mine are not yet leaking, so I hope they'll last. But there was definitely something "off" with this latest shipment. Imagine posted earlier that she's going to find out whether the factory changed the design. Hopefully, they'll be able to figure out why the seals aren't holding.

I totally agree. All of my clearos from the last batch are leakers. I can get maybe a day out of them before they start leaking and I can't get them to stop. Unfortunately, I bought quite a few. I will load up on T3's when they come in but I'd rather use a cartomizer than these leakers. I used the stainless cartos all last weekend and they perform great. While I don't like the filler, I know what to expect from them and am never surprised. The draw on the cartos is much nicer IMO, nice and smooth.

thanks moonstruck..trichman...yes I wish too ...to stay loyal...I have no intenisons to start off wth a new company....I hear what u mean about carts...ive got 3 packs of steel ones put away....si did offer for me to return them..but return shipping is as much as the refund so theres no point...I cant stand stand the filler taste....so there they stay.. Ill find someone one day to sell them too....who knows....I just keep in mind when these issues happen that its still cheaper and better for me to put up wth the hassels....then go back to smellys....I cant go back even if I wanted too..cant stand them either..i had 6 or so few weeks back and they made me sick....so im sure si will get these things sorted.......the waiting game....we will get there.....im a believer....;)

I just today had another clearo lose the seal -- so far I believe these have all come from the latest batch I ordered & received a week or so ago. This makes 3 for me, but none of them are leaking, so I wonder if this seal is even needed?

Well, make that 4 now. I opened a new one last night to sample some new juice. I just now went to refill it, and the seal came out. :glare:

I had one yesterday start to gurgle and leak. Upon examination, found the ring loose at the top of the clearo when I tried to empty out the juice. Used a paper clip to remove it, and now the clearo works fine without the ring. No leaks. This is the 2nd or 3rd ring I have removed. I wonder why others leak and mine don't?

I'm glad I still have several clearo's that I purchased at the Halloween sale and they are working great! :smokie:

I was going to order a few more to take advantage of the 26% sale... but now after reading all these horror stories about this batch 8-o

Hopefully these problems will be corrected before the Christmas sale...??

Or maybe I'll just wait for the mythical T3

Yep, strange, strange, strange. I have 4 clearos now that have lost their seals out of my new batch of 6 I bought. But none of mine are leaking other than the occasional drip on the battery post that I've observed with all clearo-type devices. So guess I'm really lucky that they are all still working.

And I don't even have any magic underwear.

At the risk of sounding traitorous, I did try one of the other guy's T3 with adapter... sturdy, large 3ml capacity, easy to fill, easy to clean, great flavor & vapor but way too airy with adapter. Had to plug one of the airholes, but no leaks. Another downside for me, only can be used with manual batts. I HATE manuals.

If you like the X2 clearo's, try the Kanger T2. It's top coil, warm vape, great taste, lots of vapor, sturdy, replaceable heads, easy to fill, clean, NO leaks. Can be used on both manual & autos. No adapter needed but you still have to plug one airhole, little airy. The replaceable heads come in a pack of 5. This is just another option(s) to consider. I have both because I'm impatient.
