Was this subject resurrected just to troll?

I figured this subject was dead and buried.

SIGH, butters, butters, butters, you should know better then that...

I am starting to think these arent real questions but people just interested in how many posts they can rack up for replies.

I truly think that this debate is working to a certain extent. People are becoming more thoughtful in their responses to the new kids. This debate may not be such a bad thing. There are a couple of people that aren't getting the point of these discussions, and I don't think they ever will. I do notice they are the ones that end up in trouble for one thing or another and are gone for a few days......

:)

Really? The OP seems to be genuinely interested in people's opinions.
while im not discrediting the OP as they may be genuine, but it seems the same topics keep being repeated. when a quick scan will usually find a similar post no more then a few days out with the same people posting the same responses. making me wonder sometimes thats all.

i mean it is easy to just post this knowing your almost guaranteed that your going to get 100 replies

That's pretty common. Popular topics or 'issue of the day' type threads seem to pop up all over suddenly. Maybe the forum is so big people can't find the other thread, or it gets closed or moved? Not sure why, but it does seem to happen. As long as they don't ask me to hold their purse while they fight it out it's OK.

I figured this subject was dead and buried.

It was fired up in an early morning thread today, someone wanted to upgrade to VV and offered up a budget to $200 "for the right gear", which opens Pandora's box for options! So it really doesn't fall into the category of the last thread. Then, well...................

I will reiterate what I said last night, I spent the money on the Provari for the durability of it, my Lava tube clone is JUNK, I knew that buying it, but for $40 I didn't expect much. Using it, I got to like VV but every time I dropped it I would cringe, it wont last long in my world! Do I personally notice any difference between them while vaping, honestly not yet. Granted I've only had it up and running a few hours so far. But build quality, there is no comparison! Where the cap for the LT feels like it is ready to pop out any second, the P feels strong as a rock! The atty threading is nice, smooth and not all wallered out like the LT, I don't see signs of the chrome flaking off already, that happened on the LT on the way home from the store! Again, for $40 I didn't have high expectations for it! For $160 I DO! I also like it's the same size as my trusty BB (I got the mini) so swapping back and forth is easy for me now. The LT was twice the size and didn't fit in a pocket well at all! One of the reasons I eliminated the SS V-Zmax's from my list.
Is it "all that and a bag of chips"? Meh, I can't say that. So far I'm happy with it though, and I think it will last with the abuse it will be subjected to, I can't say that of some of the other choices I had, and I expect it to be as durable as my beat to snot BB, just not as easy to fix.
So for me, it was the way to go, for others, maybe not.

when we are just answering a question like the rest of the crowd

Thrasher, I think it's great to have cheerleaders for a device, and to share it, however much people want to.

There are however, some among that group who do a great disservice by their rude remarks like "listen up, noob" (when talking to anyone who disagrees with them and/or may have less posts and/or are new, and such.)

I would think that putting social pressure on people like that, within your group, would discourage their very poor communication skills, and combative attitude-----but no such luck so far.

THAT is what turns people off, not the cheerleading for Provari, which is indeed, a very very nice vaping device :)

But maybe that is why the topic keeps coming up, I mean, what poster enjoys "being kicked to the curb" by a rude person(s) who don't have any social or conversational skills? Members tend to remember stuff like that.

I would never bash it, though I like bottom feeders so it's probably not for me.

If I was going to spend that kind of money I'd want a REO VV Grand. However, with seven grandkids entering thier pre-teens, three kids with attatchments (in-laws) and of course Mamaw to buy for I doubt I'll be splurging for new PV's this holiday season. So onward I trudge with my REO mini and my Twist/ T3's, which really ain't too bad. Still better than analogs !

And there you go! I like the REO's, but for that money they wouldn't put up with my abuse, and I'm not going to spend that kind of money on something that I will break!
Honestly, this was a HUGE purchase for me! I've had to work a lot harder than my broken body likes to come up with the money for this! So far, I can't say it's for everyone, and wont, but I think it will suit my needs fine.
Again, whatever works for you, use it!
