What is wrong with my electronic cigarette?

I just got an E Health Electronic Cigarette. It worked for about 5 minutes and now it won't draw smoke. I tried replacing the cartridge but it didn't work. The battery still works and lights up. From what I can tell its the atomizer but I could be wrong and I don't know how to fix it. Please help.

Or you could try another atomizer on your unit, sounds like the atty broke....i dont know how long youve used it but they burn out after a month or so.

Have you charged the battery? Sometimes when you use them out of the package they only have a small charge.

Can test atty w/ ohm meter.

Cartomizers cost about $2 and are refillable.

Spare attys cost $7ish.

Can't imagine not having a single spare.

My preference is 2.5ohm 306 atty and 1.6ohm dual coil cart; both at 3,7 volts.

I have used dual coil on tiny PV (smaller than analog) and it works great. Not all units are compatible w/ 1.6ohm dual coil.

Have you charged the battery? Sometimes when you use them out of the package they only have a small charge.

Have checked the battery, pretty sure its not with the battery.

Try taking the scre part of the atty and pulling out the middle part. put a paperclip in the hole and just lightly wiggle it around until it moves out a millimeter or 2. I have had to do this it makes better contact with the battery side. If you cannot do this with your model of atty then do it to the battery side. just be gentle though.

I have to agree. Unfortunately, there are a lot of places selling that kit for rip-off prices but, it's the cheapest out there. You can get it for $7.80 here. An M401 atomizer should work on it, if you want to try to find a replacement but, really you should replace the kit.

I would not make OP suffer thru stiff draw of a M401 atty.

Brand new starter kit is best
Dual coil + adapter + M401 batt is very good
306 atty + adapter + M401 batt is good.
M401 atty on M401 is tuff draw

I still like using super small and light M40x hands free.

lol! Now there's a thought that never occurred to me. To tell you the truth, I don't think I've ever seen an M401 adapter. I haven't really looked for one either. How long does the battery last with a dual coil? I can't see it going more than a few minutes.

Okay, I did a little poking around and found an adapter at Good Prophets here. That's to do the OP a good turn. Nothing will ever convince me to use those little bitty batteries though.

Thanks for the info, I had no idea (only been vaping for a few days). Does this hold true even with regular maintenance and cleaning? How will I know if my atomizer is dead, does it just stop pulling?

I have a few M40x batts and two chargers. Have no issue carrying four batts in pocket.
They are tiny.
Batt life reduced w/ 1.6 dual coil but vape is nice.
Adapter cost about $3 at madvapes.
Haven't tried 306 auto batt.
Sometimes man batt makes me feel one handed and it's nice to have hands free option.

PS. Have you seen the jazzepipe...my newest dream...I best stop looking....

As others have stated, your PV is definitely a "bottom feeder". Trying to make it better will probably just cause you frustration in the long run. I would suggest you get a good beginner PV like the manual battery Riva 510 or 901 from Liberty Flights for $30. Your experience will be much better and your frustration level will be much lower. Definitely get manual batteries.

Good advice above. But just to clarify: "Bottom Feeder" normally is used to refer to a box-type PV that feeds juice from its internal juice supply up through the bottom of the atomizer/cartomizer. I imagine wv2win meant it in a more generic sense, i.e., "scum of the earth"

LOL, ap, you are correct. (scum of the earth was my meaning) I never thought of that and will be more careful next time.

For the OP - if you want a slim ecig consider a Joye 510 w/ manual batteries. Cignot.com $36 (get the real Joye one with manual batteries) and buy some eliquid. Many people like Boge blank cartomizers (standard resistance) on it too. Elsewhere you can find the longer charge 510 mega xl manual batteries.

If you want to jump to something with a bigger hit and a lot more battery life then look at Ego and Riva 510 at Liberty-Flights.com. I got my Riva kit there for under $30 (press the 20% off on front page)

Since 510 is too heavy to dangle my vote goes to the bigger better model.

It probably your atomizer. Most companies state that the atomizer may work for 1 day or 2 or 3 months. Its hit and miss with these things regardless of what brand they are. I'm pretty sure some of these folks own stock or are affiliates of Riva and Joye products. They are gonna tell you what you have is crap and a bottom feeder toy cig because its not what they are using. Check the atomizer and if that doesn't work I would contact the manufacturer.

M401 atomizers can be found at MyPVShop.com and maybe LiteCigUSA.net and elsewhere. We think they will fit your battery.
